Mephistos Orobriax is a major supporting antagonist in the 2020 WattPad fanfiction, Jake's Heroic, Critical, Bizarre Adventures. He is one of the (and the most loyal yet evil) servants of The Unknown and the head leading priest to his cult, creating a religion about a false god. He serves as a minor antagonist in Season 3 and one of the central antagonists in Season 4 (alongside Rhea Lucifero).
He was once from another reality in the year 4362-X, where he led a religion he "faked" from an alternative version of Earth he took over a decade ago. By each year he would lead a group of his other fellow cultists, hundreds or a thousand to committing a massive suicide or human sacrifice depending on whichever group worships his "god" the most while he wrongly executes those who oppose his "religion".
His acts almost continued for a century now until The Unknown, as Khaled, offers him an opportunity to join him at first, but realizing he was no challenge to his superior abilities close to godhood. Mephistos began worshipping his presence "religiously".
After becoming a member of the Righteous Ones, he was allowed by The Unknown to form a religious cult about the said entity himself. Telling many stories to those the Unknown has brought to him while doing the same acts he did before, but only as a way to please his lord under delusional fanatics.
However in spite of working for the Unknown as well as worshipping him, he also has another motive behind his back. Any reason behind his cultism was to absorb the souls of those who sacrificed their own lives under the process for Mephistos to achieve longevity, or which he considers it as "true" immortality whereas he enslaved and imprisoned them as long as he could remember.

- The entire name of Mephistos Orobriax comes from different references. With "Mephistos" being from Mephistopheles, a German folkore demon, and "Orobriax" in contrast pronunciation to Ouroboros.
- He shares similarities and is actually inspired from one of Disney's most darkest villains, Judge Claude Frollo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Both are delusional and corrupt officials who abused their own authority and power, only difference is that with Frollo's motivations focusing on a genocidal crusade to gypsies and his lust for Esmeralda, Mephistos' motivation is to spread out a whole new "religion" and claimed he was "righteous", but was in actuality, a hypocrite at best.
- His cultism and suicidal sacrifices is also based from Kenzou from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean.
