Mettaton Ex, or simply just Mettaton, is a supporting antagonist in EnchantedMob's Undertale Minecraft animation series, serving as the main antagonist of Hard Drive, one of the overarching antagonists of Judgement, a minor character in I Am Flowey, and a mentioned character in Way Deeper Down.
He is a monster in the form of a feminine humanoid robot who really likes fame and attention. After a human named Frisk enters his stage, Mettaton decides to fight her.
In Hard Drive, his singing voice was provided by WildCard.
Biography[]
Hard Drive[]
Seeing a human child named Frisk enter his stage, Mettaton appears from above and surprises Frisk. Mettaton begins to brag about how famous he is and considers himself everyone's hero. Seeing that Frisk was weaker than him, Mettaton decided to fight and bully Frisk by pushing him, making Frisk irritated and he decided to fight Mettaton. However, Mettaton continues to humiliate Frisk by avoiding her attacks by dancing and taunting her around. In the middle of their fight, Mettaton also praised himself in front of the camera and saying he had "an electric personality, persona fabulosity and elegant legs that are better than arms".
After arrogantly praising himself, Mettaton decided to increase the tension by raising the stage upwards. When the stage went up, it was Mettaton's turn to attack Frisk and tries several times to hit Frisk. Luckily, Frisk managed to dodge Mettaton's attack and knocked him off the stage. However, Mettaton didn't actually fall and managed to get back up by kicking Frisk, making Frisk even more angry and determined to kill Mettaton. Mettaton once again managed to dodge Frisk's attacks with his agility and dancing and proudly boasted about himself. Unfortunately for Mettaton, his arrogance ultimately became his defeat after Frisk managed to attack Mettaton who was off guard. Mettaton tried to avoid her attacks, but because he was continuously attacked, Mettaton finally accepted defeat and smiled as Frisk kill him by punching his heart.
Judgement[]
Mettaton appears briefly, where he is killed by Frisk (who is possessed by Chara) by slicing him using a knife. His death was one of the reasons Sans wanted to kill Frisk as revenge.
I Am Flowey[]
Mettaton is only seen twice in this animation, where he runs in a beautiful landscape with Flowey, Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, Muffet, and Lesser Dog.
Way Deeper Down[]
Mettaton is only mentioned in Way Deeper Down, specifically when Sans tells a confused Frisk that she just like Mettaton because he also has never met a skeleton before.
Appearance[]
Mettaton is a humanoid feminine robot with black hair with a long fringe that seems to cover his right eye, pale "skin" and visible metal segments below and above his left eye. He has a pink chest piece, a narrow metallic waist with a box contraption, and black shoulder pads above his segmented arms, which end in gloves. The chest piece has what appear to be a speaker and some knob or gauge, while the waist has two parts that seem to act as a locking mechanism that holds his "heart-shaped core," as they both lose white pixels during his "heart-to-heart" attack. His long black-clad legs end in pink high-heeled boots.
Personality[]
In cotrast to the original Mettaton who was a flamboyant and charismatic but still well-intended robot, this version of Mettaton is an arrogant, self-confident, attention-hungry, and flamboyant jerk. Mettaton is very proud about his fame and arrogantly considers himself "everyone's hero". Mettaton doesn't like people entering his stage without his permission, because after Frisk entered Mettaton's stage, Mettaton immediately appeared to fight Frisk for entering his stage without permission. Mettaton really likes bullying people who are weaker than him, because throughout his fight with Frisk, Mettaton kept bullying and humiliating Frisk in front of everyone. Mettaton also sometimes grins evilly whenever Frisk loses or is unable to hit him.
However, Mettaton can be a coward, because after Frisk managed to land a blow on Mettaton and continued to attack him, Mettaton could only dodge his attack without the slightest resistance. Even at the time of his death, Mettaton was a dramatic person, seen when he preferred to die by letting Frisk break his heart while posing dramatically.
