Mickey Seacrest is a minor character of SuperMarioLogan. He is obviously a parody of Ryan Seacrest, the real-life host of American Idol since they both have the same last name.
He was voiced by the creator of the series, Logan Thirtyacre, who also voiced other characters in the same YouTube series such as Bowser Junior, Mario, The Rat and Waluigi.
He has only appeared in American Idol Mario Edition as the main antagonist. He was the host of American Idol, but in 6th episode, it was revealed that Mickey Seacrest was the fake host and not the real host of American Idol. Despite this, however, he continues to return as a host and tries to hide from Mr. Pig (who got angry about the fact that Mickey Seacrest was revealed to be a fake host).
After the end of the American Idol series, Seacrest has disappeared from the SML series and has never appeared in new episodes, making it unknown what happened to him. However, it can be assumed that he got arrested offscreen for being a fake national television host. He was later mentioned in the first episode of American Idol Season 2 when Brooklyn T. Guy said that he didn't know where Mickey Seacrest went to.
The reason why Seacrest never appeared in new SML videos is most likely because the plush is actually owned by Logan's parents as the plush comes with a Minnie Mouse plush as well, and both of the plush toys were a wedding gift to Logan's parents which could mean that Logan couldn't take the Mickey Mouse (who was portrayed as Mickey Seacrest) or the Minnie Mouse plush to the apartment or new house.
Despite common belief, Mickey Seacrest and Mickey Mouse are actually seperate characters since Mickey Mouse did not host American Idol Mario Edition and the host of American Idol was actually a different version of him named Mickey Seacrest.
In episode 6 and 7, Mickey was defeated by Mr. Pig beating him up and throwing him away. In episode 8 (which is his last appearance and the last episode of the American Idol Mario Edition series), however, he was never shown to be defeated or punished onscreen for pretending to be a host.
Appearance
Mickey Seacrest is a plush toy of Disney's mascot, Mickey Mouse and he even resembles Mickey Mouse. He wears white gloves, a black tuxedo with a white tie and white shirt underneath and black shoes. He also used to wear a white and black jacket that resembles the jacket that is worn by Woody from Toy Story.
In episode 7, he wore a mushroom hat as a disguise to hide his true identity and make sure Mr. Pig doesn't recognize him because he was revealed to be a fraud pretending to be a television host. He even called himself McToad Seacrest while wearing the mushroom hat which was his disguise until Mr. Pig found out his true identity and then beaten him up and threw him away.
Personality
There is not much known about Mickey Seacrest, but he seems to be friendly even though he is a fraud for pretending to be the American Idol host.
In episode 8, Mickey wasn't shown to be a fraud or a liar and wasn't shown to do anything villainous, meaning that he could possibly be redeemed.
