Miles "Tails" Prower is one of the main characters in the Sonic.exe: Nightmare Universe series created by JaizKoys. He appears as one of the main protagonists of Sonic.exe: Nightmare Beginning and a major antagonist in Sally.exe: Eye of Three. He is also a recurring character within Nightmare Shorts and stars in it's third episode.
Tails was a former protagonist that was caught and demonized by Exetior, being upgraded physically with most of his autonomy intact.
He was originally voiced by YuriHaru567 before their departure from the project. They had also voiced Rosy, Cream the Rabbit, Sark's Cream, Inner Tails and Metal Amy.
Overview[]
When Tails was a child, he was often bullied for his cowardice and a rare genetic mutation that caused him to have two tails rather than one. He ran away from his own family and decided to be a loner in society before eventually meeting Sonic the Hedgehog. He became best friends with him as they would always hang out and stop Dr. Eggman together.
Tails later joined the Freedom Fighters and built powerful elemental shields for their leader Sally Nettle. He had also met Knuckles, Amy and Cream.
Tails was one of the main protagonists of the first game, coming across Exetior's murder spree of the flickies of South Island. However, Tails was not able to outrun Exetior and was caught by him. During Tails' demonization from the Black Ring[1], a split-personality rooted from his internal trauma formed due to a flaw in the ring's demonization process. Due to this anger, Tails was unfortunately extremely hostile, and during one mission to demonize Vanilla the Rabbit, Tails was overcome by pure anger and rage due to Inner Tails' influence before tearing Vanilla to shreds and eating her remains.
Personality[]
Tails was a shy loner who never believed in friendship and trust. He often ran away from his problems and never had the courage to confront them. After believing in himself with the help of Sonic, he became a lot more friendly, calm, level-headed and intelligent, being there to help his friends during the toughest of times.
After his demonization and siding with Exetior, Tails' personality began to regress again as he began to act more reckless and jaded when carrying out missions. He can be incredibly arrogant, snobbish and callous, sometimes even dismissing others such as Knuckles as being vindictive towards him despite the fact that most of the time Tails is the one being rash and outlandish.
Tails deeply cares about Sonic[1]. He became more heartbroken and depressed after Sonic began pushing him away in Sally.exe: Finished Nightmare (due to the influence of Junter).
Because of his demonization error, Inner-Tails is a split personality that formed due to Tails' repressed trauma and feelings of insecurities. This side of him is extremely sadistic and bloodthirsty, completely eating Vanilla whole and attempting to eat Cream as well. It also berates Tails on how Sonic will never accept him.

Tails' only role in any ending is the worst ending. He appears to Knuckles and Exetior, demanding his boss to let him see Sonic. Fortunately, Knuckles pushes Tails away before he can do anything.
