Martin Li, also known as Mister Negative, is the main antagonist of Marvel’s Spider-Man and the Utility of Accepting a Subjective Reality, an instalment of SnapCube’s Real-Time Fandub Games.

He is a supervillain who terrorizes New York and intends on killing Spider-Man/Peter Parker after he refuses to let him ask a question.

He was voiced by Ryan Mitchum, who also voiced Shadow in the Sonic dubs.

History

Origins

As a kid, Martin was born with "Old Man-itis", which caused him to have supernatural powers and an old voice. He was bullied because of this and the doctor tried to cure it, only to instead pull out his wisdom teeth, causing Martin to kill everyone in the room.

Trivia

• One of the most popular parts of the fandub include the screen messing up, which the crew joked was him going full negative.
• About half an hour before the crew started recording the episode, there was a heated argument about the show Chalkzone and how the physics involved worked. Ryan, Li's voice actor, thought it would be funny to reference said show solely to annoy everyone else. Li wanting to ask Peter a personal question was him wanting to do his bit, but he kept getting cut off every time, which was completely unintentional. It wasn't until 45:45 in the video that he finally got to do the joke.
