Mommy Mearest is the secondary antagonist of the critically acclaimed fan-made mod, Friday Night Funkin' HD, serving as the main antagonist of Week 4 and one of the two main antagonists (alongside her husband) of Week 5. She is a popstar and succubus demon, who commonly flirts with whoever she is interested in. As of right now, she has her eyes laid on her daughter's own Boyfriend.
Appearance[]
Mommy Mearest pretty much maintains the same appearance from the original Friday Night Funkin' apart from the HD art-style in the game. However, there are a few things that differ her from the original. The jewelry she wears is much larger and she wields a pink mic. Her figure is also different, as she has noticeably larger breasts and visible abs.
During the game's version of M.I.L.F, Mommy Mearest becomes horny after Boyfriend calls her out on her inappropriate advances towards him out of complete disregard for her daughter, while also confessing his love and loyalty for the latter. Now turned on, her skin becomes a light pink color and she drools a bit. She can also be seen holding her left breast with her hand. She can be seen blushing as well.
Personality[]
Like most of the characters, this version of Mommy Mearest has more of a talkative personality than her original counterpart. Being a succubus, she is flirtatious and seductive towards men. She is also very dedicated and takes her job seriously, as whenever she sees something she wants, she doesn't back down easily. Multiple times throughout the game she attempts to seduce Boyfriend.
Unlike Daddy Dearest, who is at least worried about his daughter's well being, Mommy Mearest isn't all that concerned with her, even though she does love her. Her advances towards her boyfriend shows that she can be a bit self-centered since she knew well that he was her daughter's date.
Unlike the original Mommy Mearest, who dislikes Boyfriend like her husband, this version of her actually likes him a bit too much. At first, she treats him like any other man she has met, but as time goes on, she begins to admire his dedication and passion for music and Girlfriend. After he defeats her for the third time, she finally admits defeat and welcomes him to the Dearest Family, showing that she does approve of him and his relationship with her daughter. However, this does not prevent her from trying the same tactic again in Week 5.
When she becomes horny, Mommy Mearest turns into a literal sex addict, as she spurs a bunch of sexual and vulgar gibberish. She also becomes murderous, as she attempts to steal Boyfriend's soul multiple times throughout the third song by firing a pink laser from her finger tips.
Trivia[]
- Mommy Mearest is arguably a bigger threat than she was in the vanilla FNF, since she has made multiple Daddy Dearests in the past from her imp slaves and still plans to do so.
- Had Mommy Mearest beaten Boyfriend in M.I.L.F by draining his health or shooting him with her laser beam, she would have turned him into an imp. As on Kolsan's twitter, there is a sketch of Boyfriend as an imp (the only thing that makes him stand out is his hat) with Mommy Mearest giving him a thumbs up while Girlfriend slams her fist against the ground in despair.
- This would count as the bad ending for both Boyfriend and Girlfriend. For Boyfriend, not only does he lose the girl of his dreams, but also becomes the imp slave (and possibly the next Daddy Dearest) of Mommy Mearest. For Girlfriend, she loses her boyfriend and holds a grudge against her own mother.
- Unlike Daddy Dearest or her canon counterpart, Mommy Mearest actually likes Boyfriend (albeit in a very inappropriate manner) and accepts his relationship with her daughter.
