Monochrome (Otherwise known as TW9ub2Nocm9tZQ==) is a minor antagonist that only appears in the Valentines Day update for (Mario) The Music Box -ARC- where he serves as an Undertale inspired boss fight due to Mario (And Riba depending on if he's alive) appearing in his world and tries to kill the former believing their soul does not belong in his world.
Appearance[]
Monochrome is a black and white human and cat hybrid that resembles a mixture between Marchionne and Len, having features of both characters. Having Marchionne's body and Len's coat.
Personality[]
Monochrome doesn't show much personality throughout his screentime. But from what is seen, he seems to not like anyone tresspassing into his world such as when Mario finds him. Monochrome then tries to kill Mario but fails in doing so and shatters when his health drops to 0. But Mario is seen in a void and Monochrome tells him that destroying one of his bodies destroys his world in return.
Monochrome is also shown to behave like a cat at times if you choose to pet him two times. But if the player tries to pet him a third time, he will get aggressive.
Trivia[]
- Monochrome speaks in Base64 instead of any spoken language.
- The reason Monochrome is completely black and white to resemble the Undertale battle system.
- Monochrome is one of two bosses in the (Mario) The Music Box games that is completely unique from the player using a character to walk around. The other boss is Alice in the Omitted Memory ending of the first game.
- Not much is known about Monochrome at the moment. But CorpseSydrome said in the (Mario) The Music Box Documentary by HAZAHMASTER! that she plans on adding more lore to him in the future.
