The Shuevet Motetz Dam, also known as the Coven of the Crimson Scarab, are one of the main 11 vampire covens in The Legend of Van Helsing: Gothic Slayer Webtoon. They are an Egyptian-based vampire coven that are also recognized as African Vampires. They appear in the episode Gabriel and the Mummy: Motetz Dam Raid as the titular antagonists.
Biography[]
The Motetz Dam Vampire Order that are based in Egypt, and they are known to value old relics the most. They have a decent relationship with a few other Vampire covens like the Neamh Mhairbh, who are known for their respect of the old ways but don't interact all too often. They do not get along with the Arbusto Oscuro coven as they are less respectful to their tombs.
Unlike other vampire covens the Motetz Dam are mostly dormant as they await for their queen to awaken them and so they could do her bidding but some sub-covens are loyal to an old Pharos or Priest instead of being directly loyal to the queen herself.
The Motetz Dam would sometimes, under the leadership of an Elder Vampire or True Blood Vampire, would invade human cities that they claim is theirs in their life, calling on the powers of the old Egyptian gods.

- "Motetz Dam" translates to "blood sucker" in Hebrew, and is a term used in Jewish traditions to refer to vampirism or vampires.
