Mother Moose is a supporting antagonist in Fazie Funbear's Five Nights at Freddy's fangame, Playtime with Percy. She took care of children at Percy's Playhouse prior to its closure, and is controlled by a Pal Percy toy in the week leading up to being sold, sent after the night guard to keep him there forever.

Appearance[]

Mother Moose is a brown, bipedal moose animatronic with small black eyes and white pupils. Her antlers and inner ears are dark brown, and she has dark brown hooves for feet. She wears a black maid outfit with a white apron and a red tie. She also has two pairs of gold bracelets on her arms, and a gold ring on her left index finger.

Biography[]

Mother Moose was a performer alongside Percy Poodle and Charlie Cat at Percy's Playhouse. She would often take care of children visiting, telling them stories and playing games with them. She would also distract them by giving them a Pal Percy or Pal-Boy to play with. After the restaurant closes down, a Pal Percy takes over her and the other robots, sending them to hunt a night guard named Nick who was hired to watch over the place before everything was actioned off.

She first activates on Monday night alongside Charlie, where she'll pop out of one of the two vents in the office. Unlike with Charlie though, the player must pull up their cameras or Pal Percy to make her leave, otherwise she'll attack. Before the night begins, the player is given a tutorial using pieces of cardboard with her and Charlies faces on them. After the first night, Nick must sell the animatronics online by finding offerings that match the price they're listed for, during which Mother Moose is sold for $800. After Tuesday night, Mother Moose begins hunting Nick in the Rat-Cade while he tires to beat a high score on the Attack of the Space Dogs cabinet before it's sold. Upon hearing her, the player must turn around and shine her with a flashlight to make her go away. After getting 3125/5800 points, it will take two shines to make her leave.

She's absent after Friday night, having already been sold along with all of the other robots but Percy. In the credits, she is seen in a photo at a rave, looking roughed-up and unhappy, with "Party Animal(s)" written underneath in black marker.

Trivia[]

She was the easiest character for the devs to design.
Before the role was taken by the Pal Poodles and Tama-Terrors, she was going to appear with the other robots in Pal's boss fight.
At first Percy Poodle, Charlie Cat and Rowen Rat were going to be the only three enemies, with Mother Moose and Felix Farmer getting added in later.
In the bonuses section explaining her creation and character, it is acknowledged that only male moose have antlers, meaning that her having them anyway was a conscious choice. This could imply that Mother Moose is canonically transgender.
