Sergeant Cutthroat, also known simply as Mr. Cutthroat or Sarge, is the main antagonist of GoTube's Vyond video Caillou Gets a New MEAN Teacher/Miss Martin Quits/Ungrounded.
He is the new teacher of Grounded! Elementary School who was hired by Principal Balding after Mrs. Martin decided to quit her job due to her students misbehaving all the time. However, Mr. Cutthroat turns out to be more strict and mean than Miss Martin as he forces students to behave and obey him, even threatening to kill Bob if he doesn't listen to his orders after he misbehaved.
Tired of Sarge's strict and abusive behavior, the students, including Bob and Rosie, decide to tell Balding about what was going on in the classroom. He is then arrested by the police and never allowed to step foot in front of the school ever again.
He is voiced by Swag Italy.
Appearance[]
Mr. Cutthroat is a middle-aged man with light brown hair, thick eyebrows and a mustache. He also wears a green military outfit, a yellowish green shirt with a white shirt under it, a brown belt and green military trousers. For his facial features, he has grey beard and a wrinkled forehead. He is also seen carrying an assault rifle on his back.
Personality[]
Mr. Cutthroat is initially a neutral and kind man towards Mr. Balding, claiming that his students are behaving better with him as their teacher. However, in reality, Mr. Cutthroat is shown as a very rude and strict teacher towards his students. Turning the classroom into a strict, military school lifestyle, he forces students to obey him and say "Yes, sir!" with the threat of being sent to detention for the rest of their lives.
His strict and abusive behavior would be so vile that even troublemakers such as Bob and Rosie hate him to the point they actually miss Ms. Martin as their teacher and decide to get rid of Mr. Cutthroat by annoying him. This would even lead to Mr. Cutthroat threatening to kill Rosie, which was caught on camera by Mr. Balding, resulting in him being arrested.

Before becoming a teacher at Grounded! Elementary School, Mr. Cutthroat joined the Go!Animate City Military and achieved the rank of Sergeant. He fought many wars and even went on three tours in Yugoslavia as the commander-in chief general of GoAnimate City.
Caillou Gets a New MEAN Teacher/Miss Martin Quits/Ungrounded[]
After Mrs. Martin quits her job as a teacher due to her students misbehaving too much, Mr. Cutthroat would be called by Principal Balding to serve as the new teacher. The former accepts the job and goes to the Grounded! Elementary School where he meets the students. There, Mr. Cutthroat immediately turns the classroom into a military school lifestyle by forcing students into saying "Yes, sir!" when he gives orders.
Unfazed at the sight of a military teacher, Bob provokes him by saying that he can't convince him of saying anything. Upon hearing this, Mr. Cutthroat approaches Bob and threatens him, but the latter still refuses. As a way to show his students what will happen if they misbehave, he forces Bob to write on the chalkboard "I will not misbehave" 10 000 times while not being allowed to talk, misbehave or even disrespect him. Bob refuses to do so, causing Mr. Cutthroat to remind him that he has fought many wars for GoAnimate City and that he had killed many fitty men, threatening to do the same to him if he doesn't obey him.
Mr. Cutthroat then looks back at his students and tells them that this is what will happen if they misbehave, even insulting Bob in the process. He then grabs Bob by the throat and forces him to give him 20 push-ups with the threat of cutting his throat (hence his name, Cutthroat). After finally finishing to write on the chalkboard 10 000 times, Bob is allowed to get back to his seat. Now that his students are behaving, Mr. Cutthroat finally begins the class by informing the students that he will teach them about history, specifically about World War II and its most brutal dictators. Not tolerating any trouble, he threatens to send students in detention for the rest of their lives if they disrupt his subject or try to mess with him.
This would slowly be the start of his downfall, however, as the students, including Bob, Rosie and Classic Caillou thought that while Mrs. Martin was mean at times, she was still their teacher, while Mr. Cutthroat was nothing but an abusive military teacher. Principal Balding would then check if everything is okay in the classroom, where he sees that Mr. Cutthroat had successfully made his students behave (though the latter was actually pretending to be kind so his true side would not be exposed). Once Mr. Balding leaves, however, he immediately resumes his strict ways.
Having enough of this dictatorship, they have Caillou sneak out of the classroom to tell Mr. Balding the truth of what Mr. Cutthroat was doing, while the other students distract him. Seeing that Rosie is about to do something on the chalkboard, he orders her to stop, but to no avail as Rosie draws the USSR logo and calls him a communist. Furious and insulted, he grabs Rosie and, knowing that all of his punishments would not work, decides to kill her. Before he could do so, however, he is arrested by the police as Mr. Balding caught the threat on camera, thanks to Caillou.
Once taken outside the school, Mr. Balding expresses his disappointment, as he thought that Mr. Cutthroat was trustful enough to be the new teacher, but turned out to be way too strict and cruel. As punishment, Mr. Balding bans him from stepping foot into the school ever again. With Mr. Cutthroat finally gone, Mrs. Martin is finally brought back to the school to resume her job again.
