Eugene Harold Krabs, more commonly referred to as Mr. Krabs is one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside SpongeBob) of the fan web-comic The Bikini Bottom Horror.
He is the owner of the Krusty Krab and father of Pearl. In the story, unlike in the actual TV show, Krabs is depicted as an even more villainous character, as he would use the Tortured One's limbs to make Krabby Patties for the longest time.
Biography
At some point before the events of the story, Mr. Krabs would severe one of Patrick's arms and take it for himself. Aware of the fact that sea stars can form from lost limbs, Krabs would keep the Patrick clone that formed from it for many years, mutilating him constantly to create the Krabby Patties so he could sell them for profit. This would go on for many years.
One day, Sandy enters the Krusty Krab and informs Krabs that Patrick had killed and eaten SpongeBob along with half of Bikini Bottom, and soon, they would board up the restaurant to prevent Patrick from coming in. Soon, Patrick would arrive and drag Sandy out the window, planning to take Krabs next, only for him to then turn into a giant crab and tear off the starfish's head. However, this hardly did a thing.
The sea star would then tell him that he knew everything about what he did, including that he was using the Tortured One for Krabby Patty meat. Patrick would then give Mr. Krabs a similar fate to what he once did to him, tearing off all of his limbs.
Later on, Sandy and Squidward would find the limbless crab back in the Krusty Krab. It turned out that Patrick had forced him to eat a raw Krabby Patty, and in his last moments, Krabs felt a sharp pain in his chest. A small starfish would then burst out, killing the crab almost instantly.
Personality
At first, Mr. Krabs seems to be similar to his original counterpart, being a greedy businessman who only cares about making money. However, as the Tortured One's origins are revealed, it is made more clear that Krabs is a psychopath who is willing to go to great and harsh lengths to make money, as he seemingly had no problem with using a clone of Patrick to harvest Krabby Patty meat and selling it to countless people to eat. His actions were partly responsible for the near total destruction of Bikini Bottom and the death of almost all its inhabitants.
Despite Krabs's psychopathic nature though, he does seem to possess at least some affection for Sandy Cheeks, as when one of the many Patrick Clones grabbed her, Krabs tried to reach out and save her while screaming her name. This may be the only even remotely good thing about him, however.
Trivia
- Despite being the main reason why the Tortured One became the monster he was, Mr. Krabs only appears in a few scenes and is killed off right at the beginning of the story.
- He currently serves as the image for the wiki's categories needed template.
- Patrick busting out of his chest may be a reference to the Alien series.
