Eugene Krabs, a.k.a. Mr. Krabs, is the main antagonist of the 2021 horror comedy film The Krusty Crew Movie, a horror parody of the famous Nickelodeon T.V. Show SpongeBob SquarePants. This version of Mr. Krabs is a murderous version of him whose greed is the motivation for why he wants to kill innocent people because the show got him paid and when it's cancelled, he wants revenge on humanity for cancelling the show and ruining his dreams of having money all the time.
Just like his canon self, he is voiced by Clancy Brown.
Early Life[]
Before the events of the film, Mr. Krabs was a cartoon character who developed self-awareness of being a cartoon but unlike SpongeBob and the Krusty Crew, he hates children and only entertains them to get money. He also enjoyed tormenting Plankton for trying to steal the formula and pulling off schemes to get money. Because of this, SpongeBob started resenting him for it.
When him and the crew was brought to the real world in a studio, Mr. Krabs was excited to free roam around as he secretly started taking money but resented the human staff members for using them for their own needs.
This went on until one dreadful night.
The Krusty Crew Movie[]
Mr. Krabs first appears on T.V. being introduced with the crew and a human cast member named Stewie but he secretly hates Stewie for being an alcoholic jerk.
The next day, him and his crew arrive at the studio in their Krabby Patty Mobile. They nearly run over the protagonist Harvey Williams but his mother Bell saves him in time.
In the Parts and Services room, their new creator Carter scolds them for nearly running the boy over but does agree to give them an update and lets them know that the show must go on. However, the update malfunctions and gives them a mind of their own.
While they are walking around freely, they hear that their selfish and greedy producer Randy is cancelling the show and is planning to tear them apart and sell them for scrap. Angered by how their ruined lives were all for nothing and getting fed up with the abuse, Mr. Krabs leads the group into rebelling against the human staff and audience while also having Randy kidnapped.
On stage, they do their show but get upset to see Stewie and are annoyed that he's drunk. However, they still played an ending song but laughed with the audience when Squidward "accidentally" knocks Stewie down on the floor with his clarinet, although Harvey was worried at that. They then finished the song and bowed to the cheering audience.
In a dressing room, they then see Stewie and he announces the cancellation before also announcing his hatred of them. Angered and fed up with him, Mr. Krabs sends Squidward to "punish" Stewie and goes outside with SpongeBob.
Outside, it was Mr. Krabs who decapitated the guard Hal before going back inside and killing 22 audience members, 10 crew members, and Tom the Page before kidnapping the children which was all off-screen.
In a pirate area, he attacks Bell and her eldest son Bustin but they manage to defeat, resulting in his right arm and left eye coming off. He is later found by Patrick and Squidward.
In the Parts and Services room, Patrick and Squidward take him to Carter and ask him to fix their boss, despite their dislike for him. By the time that Carter is in the cage and the kids escaped, Mr. Krabs had revived and left but not before killing Carter for letting the kids escape.
After Patrick and Squidward get defeated, Mr. Krabs shows up in the end and plans to kill the protagonists for ruining his plan of getting more money. However, a redeemed SpongeBob arrives in time and starts fighting Mr. Krabs to save the others. The angry boss demands to know what's going on and SpongeBob tells him that it's something he should've done a long time ago. They then fight to the death and during it, Mr. Krabs admits to be willing to kidnap any children to make sure that business doesn't die and he would get rid of anyone who gets in his way. Mr. Krabs then pulls out SpongeBob's heart, mortally wounding him. However, SpongeBob manages to kill him in return by crushing his head in half, ending the killing spree and announcing it as a resignation from the Krusty Krab. Sadly, SpongeBob died as well from his mortal wound but accepts it and shares a farewell with Harvey.
After his death, the survivors managed to contact authorities and the crime spree was being investigated. Harvey gets a kiss on his two face cheeks by the two female children he befriended, Bustin enters a relationship with Raige the page, and Bell announces a divorce with her dead unfaithful husband Pitch for cheating on her and neglecting her kids.
Personality[]
Unlike the crew, Mr. Krabs is a selfish and greedy mastermind who pulls off horrible schemes to get money and shows no remorse for what he's doing, not even caring about who gets hurt.
Upon becoming a murderer, he's now an irredeemable sociopath that enjoys killing and is willing to target children.
Despite this, he does miss his daughter Pearl and his mother but still doesn't talk about them.
Appearance[]
In his first appearance, he looked like his original self.
When becoming a murderer, his eyes are now pitch black with red dots on each of them.
When being damaged, he's now missing his right arm and left eye.
