Mr. Virtual is an antagonist created and owned by Stupendous Snart and co-owned by PanncakePK and is set to appear as the titular main antagonist of the upcoming horror web series Curse of The Crimson Phantom.
He is currently voiced by RatsoTS. He was previously voiced by KINGFOX, who also voiced Mr. L.
Mr. Virtual appears in the form of a twisted version of Mario covered in shadows with large black eyes with small red pupils and a mouth full of blocky teeth and black gums.
In his "true" form, Mr. Virtual is much taller, with his body being bigger, his arms and legs being longer, as well as very thin, while his eyes now have red sclera and white irises while his hat now has a V on the emblem instead of an M. In his updated design, he also gains the long black hair which he had as a human
All of his forms appear in black and red.
Personality[]
Evil, violent and murderous, Mr. Virtual is practically living embodiment of seething malevolence motivated by only the desire to cause chaos and suffering for his own amusement, having no ulterior motive for torturing innocent people and driving them to suicide and murder other than his own amusement and desire to inflict pain and suffering on others. As such, he is exceptionally sadistic, cold-blooded, vicious and heartless, taking pleasure in watching his victims slowly suffer and go insane before instructing them to end their lives or mutilate themselves in slow, painful ways.
Mr. Virtual is also very intelligent, knowing how to psychologically manipulate his victims and drive them insane with manipulative tactics. For instance, he uses his hallucinations in various ways, such as sometimes using them to simply terrify them with distorted images of himself, and other times with images of his victims in order to terrify their deceased family members and friends in order to further deteriorate their mental state. He routinely picks off his victims one by one and tries to create a distance between their time of death in order to draw out their suffering.
Mr. Virtual also has a strange sense of humbleness. Knowing that he isn't all-powerful or a god, he doesn't pretend to be one or act superior than other beings, to the point where he doesn't even enjoy being around other beings who see themselves as gods..
Biography[]
Mr. Virtual was once a circus performer and contortionist simply under the name of "V", he lived a life of struggle and torment before one day he snaps, burning down the circus and watching those he knew die before his very eyes, the screams of his peers caused him a sense of pure euphoria, and this leads him down a life of crime, becoming a serial killer once again under the alias of "V", his killings would involve him mutilating his victims in various ways, and carving a large V into their chests before hiding them in undisclosed locations.
His killings caught the attention of Detective Thomas Anderson, who had immediately took action in hunting down the psychopath, who, after months of investigation, would eventually be caught in May 13th, 1995, the chase would lead the detective and V into the E3 currently being held, where V would be shot dead, collapsing in the nintendo stall, where they would be showing of the latest "Virtual Boy" system.
Unknowning to Anderson, V's soul would become tethered to the system in death, transforming him into a red gangly and seemingly shapeless poltergeist.
Months after his death, V takes the name "Mr. Virtual", a giant phantom which took the twisted form of Mario, having renounced his previous life to attain one singular goal, Kill Detective Anderson. He wasn't yet aware of his abilities till a unsuspecting Samantha Heathers had played the very system he inhabited, this allowed V to follow her, just as he did to his previous victims, which lead him to attempting his old serial killer ways, Samantha would experience months of night terrors and unexplained paranoia, till one day, she was able to see him, and then he struck, He mutilated not her physical form, but the very soul that inhabited her body, leaving it a mangled corpse of what once was "Samantha Heathers", in doing this, he was able to replace her and tether his form to the body of Samantha, using it as a vessel, the feeling of flesh, the smell of the air, it was all familiar, but completely foreign to him at the same time, he had returned to the physical plane, and he LOVED it.
But this feeling, this vessel, it would fall short, as only mere days after he attained his new body, it would begin to rot away, the skin peeling off, the face deteriorating into a grotesque smile which matched that of his new face, and then, without any warning, he was back in the headset, he had stayed tethered to the cursed object he had died near, and he was no closer to achieving his goal, however, with the newfound knowledge of his abilities, he would just need to try again, and again, and again, until one day, Anderson would die by his hands.

Manifestation Mr. Virtual is able to manifest into the minds of those who play his console, appearing as a hallucination within their head.
Psychological Manipulation After manifesting into a victim's head, Mr. Virtual is able to cause severe psychological distress to said victim. Whether it's nausea, or paranoia, he does this to weaken them enough to take their physical form as a vessel.
Shapeshifting Despite his base forms resembling Mario throughout, that isn't his only form, as he is able to take up any or all characters from a Virtual Boy video game. The only reason he doesn't most of the time is because he's perfectly content with resembling Mario.
Possession Mr. Virtual is capable of completely replacing the very souls of his victims with himself, and in turn take full control of their body for his own, however, bodies he inhabits tend to rot away as if the body were dead, meaning the possession will not last forever.
Technokinesis When someone puts on the headset, Mr. V becomes "active" in the surrounding area, and is able to physically interact with objects, much like a poltergeist, he can open doors/cupboards, mess with electricals, and throw smaller objects around. while "inactive", he can only move the headset, placing it in areas where one would potentially pick it up as bait.

Trivia[]
Mr. Virtual was created from the concept of an EXE inspired by obscure video game consoles.
His older design also took inspiration from No More Innocence, which is evident by their similar behaviors and character designs.
Samantha died on March 10th, the same date of Mario/MAR10 day.
Using his shapeshifting abilities, he can duplicate his eyes and teeth, morphing his face in horrific ways.
In his early life, he had a pet rat called scamper.
While in a vessel, he will sometimes return to the old ruins of the circus he once performed at, staying for so long that his vessel will rot away there.
Once he's "active", Mr. Virtual can open doors and cupboards at will as well as mess with nearby electronics and throw random objects around.
