Christy Delgado, better known simply as Mrs. Delgado, is a major antagonist in the Vyond universe, appearing in the Dora Gets Grounded series.
She is the mother of Gina Delgado, one of Go!City School's proclaimed best students due to her smart intelligence and kindness. Throughout the series, she is one of Dora's most despised enemies alongside her husband and daughter. Although she does help and protect her daughter from Dora's troublemaking antics, she tends to be way too harsh and abusive towards the latter, an infamous example being in the controversial Dora's Worst Birthday Gift by Roku Kun the Vyonder.
She is voiced by Kate, who also voices Mrs. Martin.
Personality[]
Christy Delgado, just like her daughter Gina, has a personality that mainly depends on the video maker. Though, she is mostly seen as being supportive and protective towards her daughter Gina, who she cares and supports for being a smart student in her class. However, she isn't always depicted as such in different series as she can also ground Gina for causing trouble as well.
In general, she is shown to despise Dora as much as her daughter does, mostly due to the many troublemaking antics she causes to the latter. Unfortunately, her methods of protection can reach extreme levels of violence against Dora, as shown when she personally gives her a punishment day instead of letting her be arrested by the police for hiring a hitman to kill her daughter and willingly participating in the infamous Dora's Birthday Punishment Day.
Biography[]
Due to Vyond's timelines being varied between video makers, nothing much is known about Christy Delgado, other than the fact that she married Mr. Delgado and gave birth to a girl, which they name Gina. From there, they gave her support and had her study so much that she was proclaimed as the best student of Go!City School due to her intelligence.
However, Mrs. Delgado and her daughter Gina would be faced with a major threat and jealous competitor, Dora Marquez, who is willing to torture and attack Gina for being the smartest student instead of her, resulting in various (and mostly deadly) antics that leads to Mrs. Delgado giving Dora punishments for her actions.

Roku Kun the Vyonder[]
Christy Delgado serves as one of the main antagonists of the controversial Dora's Worst Birthday Gift. In the video, she assists her daughter, Gab, Kevin, Mrs. Christina, Mr. Cherry and Dora's family in hosting a horrific and violent punishment day dubbed as "Dora's Birthday Punishment Day". The punishments were nothing but deadly and way too over-the-top towards Dora, which Christy assists without any remorse or mercy and even celebrates her death along with the rest of the participants, knowing that Dora's death would free her daughter from being targeted.
Her actions alongside those who participated in the punishment day were so violent that they later got arrested by the French Police of Paris along with the FBI. While Dora's family was sentenced to death, Christy and her daughter were sentenced to life in prison, along with all of the other people that took part in the conspiracy.

In Dora hires a hitman to kill Gina/Punishment day by Mrs. Delgado, Christy Delgado gets revenge on Dora for hiring a hitman to have her daughter killed. Although Dora deserved to be punished for the death of her daughter, the way she punishes Dora is as abusive as her Roku Kun the Vyonder iteration, such as making her drink expired milk, splashing her eyes with bleach, choking her with the power of the force, having her crushed by an elevator and sending her through alternate dimensions. As a final punishment, Mrs. Delgado brutally attacks Dora and impales her body on a pole, decapitating her in the process. With Dora dead, she stands alongside her family, glad that Gina was avenged.
In Dora Shoots Up The School, Mrs. Delgado, learning that Gina was victim of a school shooting, decides to join along with Dora's family to have the latter executed via firing squad, despite the fact that it is not allowed to execute juveniles since the Roper v. Simmons case in 2005. Due to this, her actions were considered as crimes.

- Mrs. Delgado is a character exclusive to the Vyond universe, as despite being a Dora Gets Grounded character, she is not canon to the original Dora the Explorer series.
