Must I explain once more? The Red King knows we exist, and that brings him pain. The Red King has existed for god knows how long, and he still wants to enter our reality. Keep that girl away from her; make her feel safe, and the Red King may grow bored.
~ The Founder about the Red King.
Why?.. Do I have to explain again? The bull is a god, and not those "worship and feed" gods. It's a multiversal god. This is one of the ways to hold a god away.
~ An Area 47 researcher about The Bull.

The Multiversal Gods are low-level gods and a loose pantheon of eldritch deities, many of which serve as major antagonists in the Drawland Mythos.

Overview[]

NOTE: Because of the lack of canon in the Drawland Mythos, these beings are a very loose concept within the mythos, though subtle connections do exist in different tales/articles.

Inspired by the Old Gods (also being based on religions and so on), the Multiversal Gods are amongst the most powerful beings within the multiverse, usually being beyond the comprehension of humans in terms of scale, power or motivation. Similar to their inspiration, it appears that humanity can, at least sometimes, hold up against the Multiversal Gods.

An example of this is The Bull: The beast came to earth from a falling comet and began to wreak havoc amongst the world. However, Area 47, along with 4 other organizations, managed to hold back the Bull in a seven-step ritual.

The attitude towards humanity also varies from deity to deity. Some may have an interest in rebuilding mankind (Techno), while others appear indifferent about them (The Behemoth), while others absolutely hate it and/or want to rid the world of it (The Red King).

The Multiversal Gods also have a relationship with one another: Techno Techno and Elementos appear to be opposite enemies, while many lesser gods, like Jalkir and the Abnormal King serve more powerful beings (being the Red King).

It is also believed by some religions that they created the entire multiverse.

Quotes[]

The Multiversal Gods sure weren't easy to communicate to. They knew humans, existence, ecetera. Some found it meaningless, while some found it interesting, and some even found it to be the opposite of what they thought. But when someone from the hellish pits of a lava so fiery came to be, everything was a struggle. But we are not here to talk about him. We are here to talk about two people only.
~ the Children of our God about the Multiversal Gods.
I have heard about a god named The Behemoth. A loch, king of the lochs. Said to be under the water in the great south. A three-headed loch-ness god, am I right? (...) I believe that this thing is the Behemoth. I believe this memory-affecting thing... Of what is slowly happening to me... Is being in his presence. I know he is a god.
~ Vinnie Verdanser.

And it was then I remembered
Those enigmatic words of Saint Stoma
About how the Elementites would soon come to humanity
But not by the horion nebulas, or the galaxies,
but by those little figments;
All in different colours.

~ The Doom-Song of Saint Submechano.
I don't know where to begin with this. This is a Multiversal God. It doesn't think in the way we think, nor does it dabble in decisions. Decisions are just for beings that act erratically, variably, out of line or by other means. A god of this power cannot be comprehended by mortals.
~ A Higher-Up to the The Founder.
Such beasts known as the Elementites were born here. All seven of them were. Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Plant, Light and Darkness in shape and form. All which serve Elementos, and anyone who dares to stare into his gaze would soon be mauled.
~ A regular god about Elementos.
If ya think of it dis way; it's pretty fun out there. Shame I have to stay 'ere all day. But hey, I get by! I mean, we have similar-sized planets and stars like in your world, but stuff ain't the same: You often see a type of machine sprouting clockwork flowers and gardens, a father of many long-necked crystal beasts, a sea of waste, and little specks that serve something pretty big, I'm not gonna lie. It's hard to stand out when someone's trying to worship ya, but now look where I am!
~ Entro-Pi about his homeworld.

Trivia[]

  • They are all inspired by the Old Gods from the SCP foundation in both member size, traits, etc.
  • Although they are the most powerful beings in the Multiverse, their power is seemingly inferior to that of a Signal Screecher, who are even feared by these gods.
  • It is unclear if Blank, a god who can warp reality entirely, is associated with the Multiversal Gods.
  • The Multiversal Gods all seem to come from an entity that represents some sort of "Nothing". The Red King came from the "Hellish pits of a lava so fiery", Mars Bull and Bawlldowsah came from an existential void and Entrei & Xter-Khan came from the Darkness.
