Nao is the main antagonist of NAO's Another King of Fighters franchise.
An original character made in collaboration with "M" and the final boss of AKOF, and also plays a role in The King of Fighters Memorial's storyline.
His sprites are edited from K´Dash's and his gameplay is relatively similar, though with a few original and unique moves added into the mixture in terms of both performing combos and DM's/HSDM's.
He is in fact a Self-Insert made by an author of the same name, (NAO) featured by another author named "M". Is Unknown if he is the protagonist, but is known he is a important character in AKOF.
Her voice is borrowed from Awakened Kaede voice clips from The Last Blade series.
Personality[]
Nao is quite aggressive, he hates NESTS, the members of the K project and himself for being a member of said NESTS project and the only person he can forgive is an unknown character named Miyu. bears a certain resemblance to K's personality visibly.
Story[]
"The one who is the origin of the K-series (Kyo's Clones) hates the K-series and himself as beings that cannot live as human beings and should not live, It has already killed several K-series in the form of "erasure". "Miyu", who is important to him, is not happy with his actions. Due to his behavioral psychology and story setting, he is hated by many of the other AKOF characters. In the story, it seems that there are some friends (?) including Miyu
Because AKOF is cancelled, the story is not continuous and this is the only thing that can be observed.
In The King of Fighters: Memorial, is unknown the Nao's Role.

- Pyrokinesis (Gray flames): Nao is able to control gray flames similar to Sula's.

- Miyu: The only member from NESTS Projects who Nao can forgive, his companion and someone who he cares.
- Seal: Nao don't known her, but she is the only K-Series on Nao's side. Also, she follows him and Imitate his fighting style.
Enemies[]
- Kill: Nao has killed Kill's companions before. so he wants to revenge against him, with a strong hate.
- Kukuru Coral: Nao appears in her story, also killing some K-Series who appears. but this only causes she hates him
- Gliz Lazuli: He also hates Nao but the reasons is unknown.
- Karma: The one who has been created to fight against Nao.
- K-Failurer: A Nao's Clone to replace him. but he also hates Nao. even worse, K-Failurer is afraid of him.
- Alty Garnet: He appears in her story too, but he destroyed a laboratory where she lived. acording to her story, bothering her.
- K-Blood: He is attacked by Nao, causing he wants him to "return the favor".
- G-Raiging: He wants kill Nao, under the pretext of "Turn off the fire"
- Vesper Tourmaline: Is unknown what relationship do Nao and Vesper have, but she has an intro against him in MUGEN.
