Napstaton is a major antagonist in Underswap. They are a ghost possessing a robot created by Dr. Undyne, created to be an entertainer for the monsters (even though they claim they were originally a human eradication robot). They pretend to be a malfunctioning robot when Chara arrives to make Undyne look like the hero, but they do end up antagonizing Chara in the end.

In this AU of Undertale, they swap places with the original version of Mettaton, a major antagonist in Undertale.

Personality

Much like the original version of Mettaton, Napstaton is a rather charming, charismatic, and confident celebrity, who seems to enjoy drama, action, violence, and music. They like to perform for people, and they live for ratings. Despite these traits, they care a lot about the positive impact his show has on the people of the Underground. They also deeply care for their cousin, Mettablook.

• Even though Napstaton is their canon name, they go by many names in the Underswap community, given that there are multiple takes on the AU.
  • They are sometimes called things such as Napstabot.
• Even though they are often referred to as a "he", Napstablook (their Undertale counterpart) has no confirmed gender and is referred to as a "they".
