Natalie Perkens is the main antagonist of The Babysitter Ditcher, a Vyond video made by RyanTheTeenBoy2K7, under the alias of Cornelius McDonald/Thomas Booth, as well as it's unofficial aftermath video by Nico Davila.
She is a babysitter who ditches a baby named Timothy Cohen to hang out with her boyfriend, Jeremiah Doherty, thinking that babysitting is boring and that babies are bad. However, Timothy would start crying from starvation due to being left all alone by himself for many hours. Such neglect wouldn't go unnoticed as Timothy's parents, Ariana and Dave, find out about Natalie's actions and call her dad, Buzz Perkens, to have her grounded. Despite being grounded, she would attempt to get revenge by breaking inside the house and trying to kill Timothy, but this would lead to her arrest after Ariana and Dave found out about it.
Appearance[]
Natalie Perkens is a young woman with brown hair and green eyes. She also wears a dark blue shirt, blue ripped jeans and black sandals.
She is also seen in a pink prom dress, just like many other female characters featured in Thomas Booth's videos. Ironically, her dress is very similar to June Rae's and Caroline McKeown's in terms of color.
Personality[]
Despite being a babysitter, Natalie Perkens has a hatred towards babies, thinking that they are bad. She is also shown to hate her job as she thinks it is boring and prefers to hang out with her boyfriend Jeremiah instead of taking care of the baby like any other babysitter would. As a result, Timothy would be left neglected for several hours, showing how cruel Natalie is as she prefers relationships over babysitting.
After being called out and grounded by her father for her actions, however, not only she becomes petty and persistent but she also develops murderous intentions towards Timothy, thinking he is the one who caused her to get in trouble and that he must be killed for it. This would lead her to break inside the Cohen house and attempt to kill Timothy before his parents find out, but unfortunately for her, this was the last straw as this would ultimately result in her arrest for such cruelty.
Additionally, she is also seen as lazy and reluctant, as she doesn't want to take her dress off and continue reading Barbie books and magazines all day instead of babysitting Timothy, much to her father's anger.
Biography[]
Natalie Perkens is first seen in her bedroom, reading a book and complimenting about her dress. She is suddenly interrupted by her father, Buzz, who tells her that the Cohen family had called him that they needed a babysitter to take care of their son, Timothy, while they go to a party that they are invited to. However, Natalie is reluctant as she doesn't like babysitting, starting a brief argument between her and her father before she finally accepts and goes to the Cohen residence to take care of the baby.
Upon arriving at the house, Natalie is greeted by Ariana, who tells her that she and her husband will go to a party and that they will return at 12:00. She gladly accepts to take care of their baby, but as soon as they leave, she gets annoyed, saying that she doesn't like babysitting as she claims that it is too boring and also because she hates babies.
Thinking of a plan to get out of the situation, she plots to leave the house and hang out with her boyfriend, Jeremiah Doherty, leaving the baby all alone as she drives off in her car. Many hours after she left, the baby started to cry due to starvation and loneliness. Once Ariana and Dave return home, they notice the babysitter's disappearance and Timothy, still crying. This makes both Ariana and Dave concerned about their baby, who was left alone for several hours. Alongside ditching Timothy, Natalie blocked her father's phone number so he would never be alerted of her ditching due to not knowing her location. Unfortunately for her though, Dave asked her father for her phone number earlier and wrote it on a text, allowing him to track down her location, which turns out to be the Doherty residence.
Realizing that the Cohen family found out about her actions, she has no choice but to face the consequences as Ariana and Dave enter the room, yelling at her for leaving the house and neglecting their son. Unfazed, she again declares that babies are bad and babysitting is boring, but before she could tell Ariana and Dave to leave her room, they scold her for how rude she was for what she had done. She is then pinned to the ground by Ariana, who fires her from babysitting and even has Jodi keep her secure until Buzz arrives. Finally, as revenge for the neglect, Ariana knocks Natalie out and leaves the room.
Shortly after, Buzz takes Natalie home and grounds her for her actions, threatening to slap her if she doesn't go to sleep.
Aftermath[]
However, despite being grounded, Natalie is not finished with the Cohen family, now seeking revenge against them for getting her grounded. After escaping from her bedroom, she goes back to the Cohen residence and breaks inside Timothy's bedroom, now planning to kidnap and kill him. Unfortunately for her, she is quickly caught by Ariana and Dave, who heard her breaking a window to enter inside. Knocked to the ground by Ariana, she and Dave recognize Natalie as the same babysitter who neglected their baby earlier.
Natalie orders them to give Timothy back so she could kill him. This makes Ariana and Dave furious due to how much of a psychopath she is for attempting to kidnap and murder a baby, which would result in her getting arrested by the police. For her crimes, she is not only disowned by her parents, Buzz and Jessie, but also confronted by Jeremiah and his mother Jodie, with the former even breaking up with her and not wanting to see her face ever again. The police officer would then slowly drag her to her cell, where she will remain for ten years.
Trivia[]
- Natalie Perkens is one of the few antagonists in Thomas Booth's videos to not be shouted inside the prison, as most aftermath videos made by Nico Davila mostly involve the antagonists getting shouted in their cell for their crimes before they are left to serve their prison sentence (with the exception of Dora's family, as they get a punishment day and are sentenced to death, and Thom Hellmich, who is also sentenced to death). Additionally, she is also the only antagonist known to ever seek revenge in an aftermath video.
