Neckbeard Turkeys are the antagonists of the Thanksgiving-themed school newspaper comic of the Aeyen The Lobster Canon of The Bloody Choice Game called Gobbled Up Inside. They are a species of neckbeard-esque turkeys that are all parodied versions of anime YouTubers, those being Hero Hei, Nux Taku, and Sydsnap, and the most powerful one is Nikocado Avocado, who isn't an anime YouTuber or a neckbeard, but is still classified as one.

Background

The comic begins with the player characters Sucker and Buster hunting for Thanksgiving, with them searching for a turkey that is a massive neckbeard that has a lot of fat on it. They initially find a brown one with a fedora reading Reddit and hentai at the same time, Sucker blasts the spring-hammer device used for hunting at said turkey, knocking him into space, making that hunt a failure. This causes Sucker to use a different plan, where they decide to lure them out using "Twitterpissers", a species of insects that resemble anime characters who caused outcries on Twitter. They place down the insects and wait for the turkeys to be attracted.

At night, the turkeys come out and surround the Twitterpissers, those turkeys being Hero Hei, Nux Taku, and Sydsnap, this freaks Sucker out and he gives brief introductions on each of them. The turkeys are shown to speak, with them first arguing with eachother over the Twitterpissers, before Sucker runs up and kicks Sydsnap's head off. Nux Taku defends himself by biting Buster, and pulls out a Minecraft sword, preparing to "commit RIP" on him, before he gets slammed by a spring hammer. Buster then grabs Hero Hei, the last living one, and snaps his neck, with all the ani-tubers wiped out and caught in nets, Sucker and Buster prepare to leave.

Before they can leave, they encounter the giant Nikocado Avocado, who Sucker states is the biggest fattest turkey of all, and instead of being a neckbeard, he is a "regular morbidly obese turkey". Nikocado threatens to eat Sucker and Buster, and so he summons a magic bath of mukbang sharks that attempt to eat Buster, and he blames his attack on them on Sucker. In order to defeat Nikocado, Sucker summons a giant sign out of his mechanical pants saying "Nikocado Avocado is slowly destroying himself", and when he comes to that realization, he runs back into the woods, preparing to eat five McDonald's Happy Meals to make him feel better.

Later at home, with Sucker and Buster having just cooked the turkeys, they prepare to have the thanksgiving feast.

Clean Version

In the clean version of this comic that was published in the school newspaper, many changes had to be made to make the comic school-appropriate. The major change regarding the turkeys is their deaths, as all their bloody deaths were replaced with slapstick injuries. Although they were cooked off-screen at the end, that death was allowed as they weren't shown on-screen and cooking turkeys is a rather normal thing.

Further Appearances

The fictionalized internet celebrities that they are were parodied a few other times in the Aeyen The Lobster Canon. Nikocado Avocado was previously parodied in option 3 of the question B-Autumns Up, where Arrowhead imagines him as a healthy figure who gives off good advice, that advice that putting anything inside your body will help you get better, this causes Arrowhead to inject himself with the needle and the heart and die, in this appearance, Nikocado wasn't a turkey and appears to be unrelated from the Nikocado depicted in Gobbled Up Inside. Sydsnap also made a later appearance in option 2 of Tokyo Fool, where she keeps her appearance as a turkey, but the rest of the Neckbeard Turkeys aren't acknowledged.

Trivia

• Nikocado Avocado's Mukbang Shark attack is a homage to the attack of Kaos during his boss fights in the video game Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure,
• Excluding Nikocado Avocado, Hero Hei is the only member of the three ani-tubers to have never interacted with the others in real life, as Nux Taku has interacted with Sydsnap (under he vtuber persona Hime Hajime) via Twitter.
• Aeyen The Lobster stated that if Sydsnap was meet Meidoragon, a weeaboo player character from his canon, he felt they would get along well due to both of them sharing interest in NSFW anime culture.
• Originally, the anime YouTuber Gigguk was going to make an appearance as one of the Neckbeard Turkeys, this idea was scrapped.
