~ Negative Mario's villanous breakdown |
Negative Mario is the main antagonist of a 2013 sprite animation Mario VS Negative Mario.
He is, as his name says, a negative version of Mario that, for unknown reasons, decided to fight Mario in an attempt to kill him, which is successful at first but later backfires, causing a battle to occur.
Personality[]
In comparison to Mario, who is kind, friendly and heroic, Negative Mario is evil, unfriendly and villanous, showing no remorse for his actions and attempted to kill Mario for unknown (likely no) reasons.
Biography[]
After Mario jumps out of a warp pipe, Negative Mario approaches him and then uppercuts the former after becoming invisible. He briefly states Mario's skills as "not bad", before being beaten by the plumber and launched into a hole. When Mario unleashes a beam in an attempt to kill Negative Mario, the latter eventually gains a power that turns him completely red, before performing a Raging Demon to kill the plumber.
Just when Negative Mario thought he was victorious, a 5-UP appeared to revive Mario, much to Negative Mario's shock. This allows the plumber to beat his negative version, while also summoning three clones of himself. After falling into the ground, Negative Mario, despite being injured from Mario's attacks, refuses to give up, and summons a vortex that sucks one of Mario's clones, but then another Mario throws a fire flower that sets Negative Mario's mouth on fire, firing a few fireballs. After one of Mario's clones disappears, the plumber eventually begins to beat Negative Mario again, despite the latter having time to counter the plumber's attack during its startup.
After being launched from a whirlwind Mario performed, Negative Mario becomes furious and teleports himself and the plumber into a place which he calls "Hell". Negative Mario eventually summons his true form and fires a beam, but Mario manages to counter it with a large fireball. Both then charge their own beams, and despite Negative Mario's efforts, Mario manages to use his remaining strength to counter Negative Mario's beam, killing him instantly before falling into the ground, probably due to loss of strength.
