Overview

Eons ago, long before Malcron emerged as a threat and Xuriah was ever created. there was one being who stood above all the rest for his depravity. My brother... Nekrozoth. A being so vile that none to this day have ever matched his evil. In fact, Evil itself was his invention! Alas, he was such a terror that billions of universe were crushed beneath his boot. It did the multiverse a great service when he died, but evil still lingers in the heart of all us....
~ Az'Naru on his brother Nekrozoth.
At last! After so many eons! This reality is now MINE!!!
~ Nekrozoth's resurrection.

Nekrus, often gone by Nekrozoth, the Creator of Evil, is the overarching antagonist of the Armored Studios Animated Universe. Once a Prime Alpha who has since defected to the Prime Omegas and became their leader, having invented the very concept of Evil and ruled the Omega Empire with an iron fist. He sought to possess the Omni-Crystals to gain ultimate power, in order to reshape the multiverse to his whims. Having once been allies with Xuriah D'arcmast'r until he eventually betrayed him, Nekrozoth was then slain by a great hero and thought dead for eons.

After Xuriah spends most of the verse's run as the main antagonist, Nekrozoth successfully got resurrected using one of his followers using materials to build himself a new, much stronger form, for him to use to return to the multiverse and restart his campaign of destruction. He spends most of the time as a posthumous villain until he becomes the main antagonist of the second half of the verse, as well as being the final antagonist after Xuriah's defeat.

He is the master and former mentor of Malroc, as well as the father of Mendax, Lilith Darkheart, and Zartath, and WIlliam Nekronan. He is the archenemy of the Prime Alphas and the Champions as a whole.

History[]

Past[]

Eons ago, before time began, Nekrozoth was one of the Prime Alphas and Az'Naru's twin brother, once gone by the name of Nekrus. He and his brother were the greatest of the Primes, second only to O'Haru the Omni-Emperor. Nekrrus in particular was a Master of Science and magic, things invented by another Prime by the name of Xharon. Nekrus however was envious of the ruler of the primes, O'Haru, believing it should be his right to rule. Nekrrus, in his hunger for power, conducted his vile experiments in secret leading to the birth of Evil itself. Nekrrus rebranded himself into "Nekrozoth', a dreaded name in the Prime's language, and decided to test out on mortalkind that the Alphas have created. Being the cause of strife, hate, genocides and murder were conducted in his twisted madness, and he took glee in every single act of wickedness committed. Something his brother Az'Naru caught on and realized what Nekrozoth has done and chastised him for this act. Nekrozoth refuses to listen to his brother and decided to kill him and take his power. Nekrozoth and Az'Naru dueled, but Az'Naru came on top and sent him to O'Haru for trial for his crimes, leading to Nekrozoth's banishment.

However, one being, a Prime Omega named Ahram Obumbratios, took interest in Nekrozoth and his ideals of "strength through wickedness". He helps Nekrozoth gather followers, secretly swaying the Prime Omegas to their side as Nekrozoth rose to power, having them lead a violent coup killing the former ruler of the Prime Omegas named Dayvon Darium. Now utilizing a puppet ruler named Oberax, Nekrozoth saw this as an opportunity to gather more power so he could usurp O'Haru and rule the omniverse. Conducting evil experiments on mortal beings, leading to the creation of his "Monster Pits" where he creates horrifying beasts of destruction utilizing the souls of his victims. Some were twisted into being abominable beasts who only follow Nekrozoth's will, while others were monsters fueled by the souls of millions. Thus, Nekrozoth saw this as a time to strike, leading to "The Great Cosmic War" between Primes Alphas and Omegas. Nekrozoth wiped out all other Prime factions, leaving only the Betas, Omicrons, and Omegas left alive. As Nekrozoth swayed mortals to join his cause, orchestrating further bloodshed across the omniverse so he can utilize the negative energy of mortals for his ultimate weapons: The Dark Core. Further boosting his power, Nekrozoth used the dark core on many of his minions for his "Ascension Programs", boosting his ranks.

As his power grew, and the Prime Alphas were struggling, Az'Naru made a counter to Nekrozoth's Evil. He created Good, inspiring hope, joy, and justice to mortals who stood up to the villains plaguing the multiverse. The Alphas were building a force to counter Nekrozoth's legion, with O'Haru aiding them in the war. Thus, they created the "Champions", heroes of the omniverse, much to Nekrozoth's annoyance. During said period, other entities rose to power to aid Nekrozoth, fellow lords of darkness who sought to breed destruction across several dimensions. The war lasted for eons, with Nekrozoth came to one conclusion: If he can't rule the omniverse, he can destroy it and build a new one in its stead. Nekrozoth researched on ways to achieve this goal, learning from a book of secrets and ancient lore about the "Omni-Crystals", something he realizes O'Haru holds one of them, and a gauntlet that holds such power. To find this, he began crafting a new weapon, the Beta Crystal to serve as his new heart as aid. As a demonstration of his new weapon, he condemned the home multiverse of the Primes, twisting the multiverse into a dark den of depravity and hellish energy he soon dubbed as "Oblivion".

One day, Nekrozoth went to war with another warlord by the name of Xuriah D'arcmast'r, formerly a Champion named Xyras Xolgin. Nekrozoth easily won the war and defeated Xuriah leading to the latter to flee to Earth. No evil opposed Nekrozoth since, as Nekrozoth did horrible things to Xuriah's army and turned them into a planet of living flesh as a message to those who go against him.

First Defeat[]

One day a great hero named "Daevios" came, someone Nekrozoth wronged years ago, and defeated him. Thus, ending his reign of terror, but Nekrozoth became an undying sprit, biding his time so he could return to his former glory and have his revenge on all life in creation. For now, he waits in his realm of Oblivion watching events on fold for him to come up with ideas on how to make his return. Nekrozoth utilizes the usage of avatars to carry out plans he concocts, orchestrating events from behind the scenes to return to power. Even having his followers, even high-ranking officials in his empire and high priests, to carry out his will by enacting cults and religions that worships him. His followers make sure to keep the will of Nekrozoth alive, while some like Ahriman and Malroc left in favor of gaining power for themselves much to Nekrozoth's minor annoyance.

Remiok Sethos, once an angel named Amon but now his right-hand, acts as his main enforcer for his now broken empire. As Remiok tries to keep what remains of his master's empire in control, Nekrozoth has him conduct experiments to find a new body for himself. Thus, they constructed a new, albeit weaker body that resembles a dying corpse at worse that must now rely on life support and cybernetics for it to function.

He learns of the massive power vaccuum he left behind, seeing how other evils who were inspired by him trying to take over as the next great evil. Nekrozoth saw this as an excellent opportunity for him, using the Dark Core and the Beta-Crystal to gather negative energy of all the evils, hatred, violence and chaos the dark lords of the multiverse creates. However, it wasn't enough as of yet until he notices Xuriah has been rising in the ranks of being a powerful dark master amassing legion of his own monsters, along with demons and cosmic horrors at his disposal. He was making his way to become one of the most evil and powerful beings in the multiverse, potentially in second placing rivaling his apprentice Malroc. Nekrozoth saw him as a perfect pawn for his return, evading his thoughts to give him ideas to gather all of the most vile, evil, and strongest villains across several dimensions in one banner: thus, the Doomsday Alliance was formed. Planning to gather all of the greatest evils in one banner would help boost the Dark Core and his Beta-Crystal if all of the villains provide concentrated dark energy, though this will take some time. So Nekrozoth waited, secretly manipulating the organization and Xuriah to carryout acts of horrible crimes across the omniverse, leading to more deaths on his hands both direct and indirectly.

Starting OmegaCorp[]

Nekrozoth too settles on Earth like Xuriah, wanting to keep eyes on the evil megalomaniac. Malroc learns of Nekrozoth's return, and at first was against working with him and tries to fight him. Alas, Nekrozoth proves to Malroc why he was the master while Malroc was merely his apprentice, defeating him with ease with sheer strength and telekinetic will despite his decaying form. Nekrozoth while Malroc did escape, Nekrozoth offers Malroc something to aid him in his conquest of Earth, by beginning a corporation to rival Xuriah's Masters Industries which would be dubbed "OmegaCorp.

Through OmegaCorp, they'll corrupt the Earth, spreading debauchery and misery to speed up the process for his Dark Core project. Knowing the potential of this leading into conflict with Masters Industries, which would lead to a destructive corporate war that could claim many lives, as Nekrozoth hopes this can happen in hopes of devouring the souls of the innocent and the damned while using their bodies to create monsters for his experiments.

Gaining Children[]

One day, he used his powers to possess a man to seduce a woman to what is heavily implied to mate with him and give birth a child to be a potential vessel for his powers. Said children would become Mendax, Lilith, Zartath, and William Nekronan, as the mother was kidnapped by cultists to give birth to them and kill the mother once she was no longer useful. He has them raised to be ruthless, sadistic, and try to remove their human side in hopes they'll become like him. While the first two were deemed failures to his eyes, Mendax and Lilith was the only close successors to be his potential vessels. Though not wanting to be chosey, he promises them the power and resources along with taking over his throne when he retires or dies, so the two could battle it out to the death to see which one comes on top.

Personality[]

Nekrozoth is a creature of pure evil, a cosmic deity of hate and utter sadism who takes delight in causing pain and strife for the pleasure of seeing others suffer. He has a low opinion on mortals, seeing them as roaches to be squashed, and the fact they were designed by the Alphas whom he greatly despised. He believes in "Strength through Wickedness", believing those who truly black hearts are strong willed and capable of achieving their goals without any moral restraints and hesitation. Nekrozoth treats evil as a hobby to him, but also is capable of being pragmatic so he doesn't commit an act without any rhyme or reason, though is capable of great cruelty so he doesn't get bored when going about with his evil plans. Such cruelty he draws pleasure from doing, especially if it meant physically and mentally breaking his enemies apart.

Powers and Abilities[]

Fight Nekrozoth!? I would rather fight Xuriah and his horde of Rikloids! I would rather face Malcron head on! I would rather face a horde a demons, Malroc, any cosmic horror than face Nekrozoth head on! Doing so is suicide!!
~ Vulcan on the prospect on fighting Nekrozoth himself.

Said to be the most powerful evil reality has ever known, Nekrozoth is a Prime Alpha who holds vast power and knowledge that dwarfed villains such as Xuriah and even Malcron.

Powers[]

  • Immortality: It's revealed he is immortal, though his physical form is capable of being destroyed, his spirit is eternal and thus cannot be destroyed. He states that as long evil, corruption, hatred, and violence live in the hearts of mortals and deities alike he will live on for as long as he wishes.
  • Possession: Capable of stealing anybody he wishes, as long said body can hold his vast powers and abilities. A dead or alive body, regardless, as long its suites Nekrozoth and allows him to enable his evil deeds then anybody will do. Having done so with Xuriah D'arcmast'r in the second half of the verse.
  • Reality-Warping: The moment he gains a new form, he altered the shape of the Earth into a hellscape not unlike his realm of Oblivion. He's even stronger in his own realm, being able to shape the structure of his realm to whatever he wishes even bend time and space in them. Using these abilities on objects, buildings, even people and etc. to morph them to anything he wishes.
  • Shape-shifting: He has taken different shapes and forms as a form of combat, taking the bodies of horrifying beasts to the loved ones of people to manipulate them.
  • Anti-matter manipulation: Nekrozoth, with help of his nigh-omnipotent reality warping powers, capable of absorbing and utilizing dark matter as a means of combat. Creating dangerous energy blast that can decimate everything on sight on a massive scale.
  • Psychokinesis: Nekrozoth holds immense psychic powers that surpasses powerful psychics like Xuriah, Tetsuo Psyklone, and Malroc. Having demonstrated this even in his decayed body having one shot Malroc, who was powerful enough to tank planetary blasts, and have fought Xuriah and utterly crushed him with ease. Even using his powers to crash every armada ship in Xuriah's forces into each other and wrapping them like a ball.
  • Gavikinesis: Can control gravity with ease with his power, having done so by shutting down gravity in a whole nation upon his arrival lifting whole cities and mountains from the air. Having done this again but with a whole planet during his battle with the heroes.

Quote[]

What strange warriors you lot are... To hide behind rocks rather than fight me like men!
~ Nekrozoth to the heroes.
Hmph. Ants challenging the divine...
~ Nekrozoth.

Trivia[]

  • This version of Nekrozoth is taken inspiration of Trigon, specifically the animated series version of the Teen Titans.
  • Most notably, there's no mention of Nekrozoth's former wife and lover, who was essential in the making of the Beta Crystal for which Nekrozoth needs to sacrifice her for it to be constructed.
