Nicholas "Nick" Vermicelli is the main antagonist of Warner Bros. Pictures Animation's 2nd full-length feature film Hey Arnold! The Movie (2014).
He is Big Bob Pataki's business associate who would assist him in his plans to improve his Beeper business. He would later become Mr. Scheck's minion, joining him in his plot to destroy Arnold's neighborhood.

He was voiced by Dan Castellaneta (who also voiced Grandpa Phil in the series) who also voiced the Simpsons villains Itchy, Frankie the Squealer, Blue-Haired Lawyer, the villainous version of Groundskeeper Willie featured in Treehouse of Horror VI, and Louie, as well as Megavolt in Darkwing Duck, Evil Jim in Earthworm Jim, Postman in Olive, the Other Reindeer, Mr. Mysterio in Scooby-Doo! Pirates Ahoy!, Ventriloquist and Scarface in The Batman, The Robot Devil in Futurama, and Postman Pat in Man vs Train (2025).
Appearance[]
Vermicelli is a tall, slim Italian American man with an olive skin tone and long, shoulder-length brown hair styled into a ponytail. His facial features consist of a thick, dark unibrow, thin mustache, and a sharp goatee. He is usually seen sporting a grey suit.
Personality[]
Vermicelli is a greedy, opportunistic and deceitful individual who would do whatever means necessary to achieve great fortune and success. To this end, he is willing to work with whoever he feels can improve his wealth, but is truly loyal to no one and would betray his associates the moment he finds another, better opportunity to further enrich himself. This is best shown during his time working with Big Bob Pataki, as though he appeared to be a reliable business partner at first, Vermicelli later began secretly working with Scheck behind Bob's back, going so far as to mislead Bob about his contract with Scheck and the deal's implications for his beeper empire.
Vermicelli also somewhat lacks a moral compass, as he had no problem taking credit for Arnold's float, or going ahead to bulldoze Mighty Pete with Helga and the other kids still inside. The only time he displayed any semblance of morality is when he showed brief hesitation at Scheck's order to blow up the overpass, though he followed through with it regardless.
Biography[]
Nick Vermicelli is the secondary antagonist of the movie, where he became Scheck's associate. When Big Bob found out that he has been tricked by Vermicelli into signing an unfair contract that would give Scheck 51% ownership of Bob's entire company in exchange for his new beeper emporium, Bob furiously stormed into Vermicelli's house to confront his former business associate, which quickly escalated into a brawl. The struggle ended with Vermicelli knocking Bob unconscious by slamming the refrigerator door on his head. Later, near the end of the movie, upon witnessing Scheck getting arrested, Bob spotted Vermicelli looking to make his escape via his pickup truck, and moved in to body slam his former associate into it. A nervous Vermicelli pleaded with Bob, promising to make up for his misdeed. However, Bob would have none of it and knocked Vermicelli out cold with a single punch.
