keep quiet, stay low. his friends are growing near.
~ The description of nightmare fredbear | the night shift
Stop fighting. The clock ticks, your time grows shorter. Our deal... simmers the longer you wait. Let go now... and you and your loved ones... are free from torment. Continue prolonging... and I will finish... what I started. Your agony... will forever remain eternal. Let... us... go.

Nightmare Fredbear is a horrifying, monsterous version of the original Fredbear.

He is a sadistic monster that seems to enjoy tormenting the minds of children and adults alike. He has presumably controlled Nightmare Bonnie into doing his bidding, which Bonnie didn't consider to do.

Appearance[]

This version of Nightmare Fredbear is more disturbing than the official version from the games. He looks like a costume that a human would wear, he is noticeably more fluffy, he has black, button eyes that look like a teddy bear, he has traces of blood on his mouth and belly, his arms are more longer than the official, his chin is larger, his teeth are more dull, but still notably sharp, his fur is completely yellow, unlike official Nightmare Fredbear who has some orange and brown around his body, he has no holes and rips in his body and he has a missing bowtie.

Once his button eyes come off, he has realistic, human-like eyes.

Personality[]

Nightmare Fredbear is in short, malicious and sadistic. He is out to kill and loves to play with and torture his victims (as shown in night shift) In first encounter and night shift, he is shown smiling, as he enjoys the terror and pain of his prey. In night shift, he waited for his victim to die, but when he noticed they didn't die, he just keeps on going until they actually die.

He threatens the unknown character by saying that they have to 'prolong' so that all of his loved ones and theirselves are free from torment.

Biography[]

first encounter[]

Our protagonist, presumably the Crying Child, opens their bedroom door, only to see the towering Nightmare Fredbear peeking from the corner of the hallway. The protagonist closes the door in fear, right before slowly opening the door, showing no sight of Fredbear, right before he suddenly appears and grabs the protagonist at a chokehold, smiling. Right before biting the protagonist. A heart monitor noise displays at the end of the video.

the night shift[]

In night shift, our protagonist is seen cleaning a plate before getting a phone call, he then turns off his radio and picks up the telephone, he states that he will be home shortly and a babysitter is watching an unnamed character. He hangs up the phone, right before hearing distant clattering noises nearby, the protagonist states that the place is closed and he is done serving. Another noise is heard, the protagonist repeats his words and Fredbear repeats the protagonist's words. The lights flicker, showing Fredbear charging towards the protagonist and grabbing a hold of him and throwing him towards the wall, putting the protagonist in a trance. Fredbear stares down at the person with an ominous smile, before grabbing the protagonist by a chokehold, right before grinning and attempting to bite the protagonist on the head right before hearing another phone call coming from the telephone, which alerts Fredbear and causes him to drop our protagonist onto the floor. Our protagonist opens up a cabinet and grabs a cellphone to attempt a call for 911, but it doesn't stop Fredbear as he yet again grabs the person and pins him against a wall, right before doing a roar and biting the protagonist on the frontal lobe, dropping him on the floor. The 911 call picks up and Fredbear stomps on the cellphone, breaking it.

nightmare bonnie | the second encounter[]

Fredbear appears at the start of the video, monologuing about needing the unknown character, presumably Bonnie or the Crying Child to prolong so everyone they know will be free from Fredbear's presence. The rest of the video displays Fredbear controlling Bonnie into killing Crying Child. Bonnie constantly tells the protagonist that he doesn't want to hurt them and even apologizes after killing them.

Abilities[]

  • Superhuman Strength: He was able to knock over a fridge just by walking into it.
  • Reality Warping: He was able to presumably flick the lights repeatedly, right before appearing.
  • Teleportation: As shown in both videos, he has the ability to teleport after the lights flicker.
  • Light Manipulation: The lights flicker once he speaks.
  • Strong Bite Force: He was able to bite off the restaurant worker's frontal lobe, assumably killing him.
  • Voice Mimicry: He can mimic children's and the worker's voices.
  • Telepathy: As shown in the first encounter, he was able to talk to the protagonist using another child's voice, presumably through their mind.
  • Mind Control: Is able to control Nightmare Bonnie into doing Fredbear's deeds.
