The Nightmare Queen is the main antagonist of The Rosie Movie 4: Nightmares Come True.
She is a formerly immortal ambiguously demonic supernatural humanoid from the Nightmare Dimension who seeks to merge it with the real world for unexplained reasons. She has a long criminal record and has been under the pursuit of the government for decades.
History[]
Rosie met the Nightmare Queen at a bus stop, where she offered to sell her Razzle Dazzle Dreamy Dream Juice. The Nightmare Queen explained that Dreamy Dream Juice guarantees good dreams to whoever dumps it upon themselves before they go to bed. The Nightmare Queen offered to sell the juice for $78, but Rosie, not having that much money on her, decided to instead kill the Nightmare Queen by pushing her into the road to get hit by a car before stealing the juice. Before leaving, Rosie ate the Nightmare Queen's bones, causing her to infiltrate Rosie's body. While the Nightmare Queen's humanesque form remained absent from then on, she still continued to commit acts of villainy by means of her soul form.
That night, Rosie used the Dreamy Dream Juice on Caillou, which caused him to dream about finding a pumpkin pie on the ground before hearing a buzzer off-screen, which triggered somebody to throw a snow globe at his testicles. The Nightmare Queen later made this come true in real life by positioning her soul inside a snow globe and propelling it at Caillou's crotch, smashing his testicles. Rosie later used the juice on Caillou again, which caused him to have a dream about becoming engaged to Dora and later trying to marry her before Rosie crashed their wedding. The Nightmare Queen presumably had involvement in making this dream come to fruition as well (albeit with slightly different results), as her soul was present inside the TV when Caillou and Dora started flirting in the real world.
Upon noticing that Caillou and Dora were preparing to get married, Rosie called the Dreamy Dream Juice help center to attempt to find a method of reversing the juice's effects. The Nightmare Queen's soul was on the answering side of the call, and she initially denied that any of the juice's effects were real; however, when Rosie clarified exactly what happened and threatened to harm her, the Nightmare Queen warned her that she would find her and kill her, along with her entire family. Out of fear of unwanted involvement, Rosie promptly hung up the phone to keep the Nightmare Queen from tracking her.
Later that day, Caillou fell in love with a random Japanese girl, which angered Dora about the spike in their relationship. That night, Rosie used the Dreamy Dream Juice on herself, which caused her (along with Caillou) to have a dream about herself and Caillou being tiny. Dora appeared in the dream in a slightly larger form, intent on killing Caillou as revenge for cheating on her. Caillou and Rosie promptly flushed the enraged Dora down a toilet to get rid of her threats, but soon found themselves chased by a cat. When they believed that they had reached safety, the cat came out from behind them and swatted them awake. This caused both of them to discover that the Dreamy Dream Juice truly is capable of making people's dreams come true.
Willing to test their hypothesis, Caillou and Rosie knocked out Leo and Arthur at the doughnut shop before pouring the Dreamy Dream Juice onto them. In Leo's dream, porn magazines rained down from the sky, and he became heavily interested in them before several cars ran over him, which killed him not only in his dream, but in the real world as well. In Arthur's dream, a woman stripped down to her bikini appeared, and he attempted to make her like him by shoving an umbrella up her butthole without asking, but this only killed her instantly. Frightened by the manslaughter of the lady he liked, Arthur ran away before encountering the Nightmare Queen's soul. The Nightmare Queen offered to let Arthur cause the end of Rosie, and she gave him a magic crystal ball, then instructed him to trick Rosie into touching it so she could finish her off. Arthur willingly accepted the offer, and the Nightmare Queen brought him back to consciousness by forcibly making him pee in his pants. Once he was awake, Arthur told Rosie that the crystal ball was meant to grant him eternal happiness, and that he was warned to keep it away from her. Not anticipating the trick, Rosie stole the crystal ball from Arthur by knocking it out of his hand, then ate it, causing the Nightmare Queen's soul to enter her body.
With the Nightmare Queen now fully present inside Rosie, she quickly transformed Rosie into a demon and possessed her entire body before wreaking terrorism among the town. While in control of Rosie, the Nightmare Queen killed Clementine by throwing her at a building, crushed Leo to death, impaled a Hatsune Miku lookalike by shoving a Christmas tree up her butthole, farted and pooped all over Officer Stinkhammer, and kicked Mrs. Martin into an airplane, which inadvertently killed Clementine a second time. She then attempted to kill Boris and Doris, but Caillou intervened by sounding off his alarm clock, waking Rosie up, ending the Nightmare Queen's control over her, and reverting her back to her human form. During her rampage, the Nightmare Queen had said her name out loud, causing the FBI, which had been searching for the Nightmare Queen for decades, to become aware of her public presence.
Later on, the FBI took Rosie to an investigation building to discover her knowledge about the Nightmare Queen. Rosie, not knowing the Nightmare Queen by name, denied any knowledge of her, which prompted the FBI agents to scan her to detect the Nightmare Queen. The scan confirmed that the Nightmare Queen had, in fact, infiltrated Rosie's body, so one of the agents decided to punish Rosie for "lying" by knocking her out cold, unaware that the Nightmare Queen would gain control any time Rosie fell asleep. Sure enough, the Nightmare Queen promptly rose to control and turned Rosie to her demon form before farting on the agent and killing him by throwing him into space, causing him to get impaled by a ring of Saturn. The Nightmare Queen then continued her rampage, where she crushed three civilians to death and pooped on them, farted all over the President of the United States, and threw a soda-drinking man into space so he would run out of air and die. Ready to end the Nightmare Queen's rampage again, Caillou lured Demon Rosie to the top of a skyscraper, where he sounded his alarm clock, waking Rosie up and causing the Nightmare Queen to lose full control of her.
With Rosie's newfound knowledge of the Nightmare Queen's presence with her, she organized a town meeting at Taco Bell School to raise awareness of the Nightmare Queen. After everyone became aware that the Nightmare Queen was inside Rosie and possessing her in her sleep, Boris got the idea to use the Dreamy Dream Juice on himself so he could evict the Nightmare Queen from Rosie's body. He then explained his plan to Rosie, who promptly knocked him out and poured the juice all over him to give him access to the dream realm. While dreaming, Boris infiltrated Rosie's brain, then threw the Nightmare Queen out, causing her to reappear in her humanesque form in the real world. Rosie then chased the Nightmare Queen down, but she escaped without leaving a trail.
Later on, Rosie got the idea to lure the Nightmare Queen into a trap with Caillou's help. Caillou decided to use his android replica of Mrs. Martin as bait for the Nightmare Queen, so they took it to a canyon and threw it into a rocky chasm. The Nightmare Queen came after the android upon hearing it say "butthole", but to her expense, the android's hands clamped down and trapped her. Caillou and Rosie then peed into the chasm, causing it to fill up with urine until the Nightmare Queen drowned. They initially thought they had defeated her, but due to being immortal, the Nightmare Queen came back to life out of thin air. She then followed Caillou and Rosie all the way home before holding them at knifepoint as hostages with the threat of cutting off their heads if nobody allowed her to get her way. At that moment, however, Leo arrived and distracted her, giving Boris and Doris enough time to knock the knife out of her hands, giving Rosie the opportunity to kill her again by shoving the knife up her butthole. While they succeeded initially, the Nightmare Queen was still immortal, so she came back to life without any of them knowing.
The Nightmare Queen later broke into Taco Bell School and killed Mrs. Martin before using her classroom as a base camp for attempting to merge reality with the dream world. As she attempted this merger, Caillou and Rosie rapidly began shapeshifting against their will to reflect the in-progress crossover between the two dimensions. While the merger was in progress, Caillou and Rosie discovered that they were the only ones affected by it, and they decided to ask Mrs. Martin if she had seen anything happen. Upon arriving near Mrs. Martin's classroom, they discovered that the reality-warping waves were coming from it, and this further caused them to discover that the Nightmare Queen was responsible for it. Rosie quickly broke the Nightmare Queen out of her process of merging the two dimensions, reverting them back to normal, and killed her again by shoving a flagpole up her butthole. In doing so, Rosie learns that the cause of the Nightmare Queen's continuous resurrection is the immortality of her soul, which prompts Caillou to think of a way to find her soul so they can finally kill her.
Caillou and Rosie later explained the cause of the Nightmare Queen's continuous resurrection to their parents, who promptly instructed them to search for a method of entering the Nightmare Dimension in the ancient temple. Upon reaching the temple, they split up, and Rosie discovered an ancient book before taking it with her. Boris then drove them to the resting place of the Sword of Evil's Destruction, which Doris explained would permanently turn the Nightmare Queen to stone if it were used to stab her. Knowing that the sword can only be used by somebody good and pure, Boris made Caillou retrieve it, as Rosie would have been evil enough to turn to stone herself if she touched it. Once Caillou had retrieved the sword, Boris drove them all to the Tower of Nightmares, which the entire town had constructed to give people access to the Nightmare Dimension without needing to sleep. Boris, Doris, Caillou, and all of the town's citizens then chanted an incantation from the ancient book to send Rosie to the Nightmare Dimension, instructing her to send the Nightmare Queen into the real world so Caillou could stab her with the Sword of Evil's Destruction and petrify her.
Upon arriving in the Nightmare Dimension, Rosie faced the Nightmare Queen's soul. She attempted to kill it right there and then, but due to the dimension granting her soul immortality, the Nightmare Queen only suffered minor pain. Out of retaliation, she quickly morphed into her demonic form to try and kill Rosie on the spot. While she did succeed in severely injuring Rosie, this backfired, as Rosie powerfully farted into the Nightmare Queen's face, opening a vortex that sent both of them into the Normal Dimension. With the Nightmare Queen's soul stripped of its immortality, Caillou attempted to stab her with the Sword of Evil's Destruction, but she quickly knocked it out of his hand, not willing to die just yet. She then prepared to massacre all of the bystanders before Rosie plummeted out of the sky and knocked her to the ground. While Caillou left to retrieve the sword, Rosie temporarily kept the Nightmare Queen at bay before escaping herself. The Nightmare Queen swore vengeance upon both of them and immediately searched for them. While the Nightmare Queen eventually did find some people who looked like Caillou and Rosie, they turned out to be stunt doubles that they had hired for protection. With the Nightmare Queen distracted by the presence of the stunt doubles, the real Caillou and Rosie shoved the entire tower up her butthole and making it come out through her mouth to keep her at bay for even longer while Caillou continued to search for the sword. To their misfortune, the Nightmare Queen then cast a spell that annihilated the tower, along with injuring or killing all of the bystanders. Rosie, being the only member of the crowd still fully capable of regular movement, noticed that she had landed right next to the Sword of Evil's Destruction. Realizing that there was no other way to stop the Nightmare Queen, Rosie grabbed the sword and stabbed the Nightmare Queen with it, turning both of them to stone and killing them off permanently.
While the Nightmare Queen herself left no further influence, Rosie's heroic sacrifice that caused her to kill the Nightmare Queen inspired Caillou to develop an annual habit of visiting the statue of Rosie slaying the Nightmare Queen every year since then.
