Biography[]
Background[]
Ninja Spy first appeared as a RED Spy, often wearing the Familiar Fez and dual welding Bushwackas.
During one of his trips to Offblast, the RED Ninja Spy encountered a BLU incarnation of himself, and soon after the two engaged into a heated battle together in order to decide which one was the true original. The confrontation ended with both Spies merging into one, clad in black. His two Bushwackas then transformed into two Shahanshahs, and the Spy's skills increased tenfold.
His new-found skills and determination had apparently paid off well, as he was able to make a fortune as well as coming to own a rather humongous secret base that had his treasures locked inside. Because of this, he seemed to grow quite greedy.
An undetermined period of time later, Ninja Spy saved a BLU Heavy from a bunch of Snipers. The Heavy, having been really impressed with the Spy's combat prowess offered him money in exchange of training lessons. The BLU Heavy would eventually become clad in black as well and would get his new name, Ninja Heavy, regardless of being able to master the skill he was taught.
Demo 'N' Rappy[]
Ninja Spy's fortune eventually attracted the attention of a RED Demoman and his pet velociraptor, Rappy. Ninja Spy and Heavy managed to capture them in the act of stealing it, but the duo got out of their cells thanks to Ninja Heavy's incompetence, and ultimately managed to steal and hide the Ninja's treasures.
Ninja Spy called the attention of Gray Mann, responsible of the Robot hordes attacking Mann Co., and paid him in order to capture Rappy and Demo so as to force them to tell where their treasure was hidden. Demoman, though, points out that the treasure wasn't earned by Ninja Spy, but rather, stolen from other people. The treasure turned out to be in Hydro, and the Ninjas raced there, while the Robot horde tried to eliminate Demoman and Rappy, but failing to do so.
Eventually the two groups met and fought over the treasure, and while the Ninjas had the upper hand at first, Demoman's determination and Rappy's outrage managed to turn the tables, making the Ninjas flee in their car. While Ninja Spy raced away swearing this wouldn't be the last time they would see him, the car eventually falls off a cliff due to the Spy not paying attention.
Siege of the Freaks[]
The Ninja Duo were believed to have been killed in the ensuing crash, but he's made a reappearance since. Due to his general thievery and greedy nature, Ninja Spy is on the watchlist of the HECU and International Police, and was seen last time incarcerated by Soldine and Official Heavy after his last skirmish.
Appearance[]
Ninja Spy's current appearance is that of a regular Spy, but his suit is entirely black. He has been spotted wearing sunglasses, and very often carries two Shahanshahs.
Initially, there were two versions of the Ninja Spy: a RED Spy often wearing the Familiar Fez and dual welding Bushwackas, and a second incarnation, which was a BLU Spy wearing a pair of black sunglasses whilst also uses a pair of Bushwackas as his main weapons.
Personality[]
Ninja Spy is a highly intelligent, calculated, manipulative and unpredictably cruel businessman. strategic con artist who maintained a number of achievements throughout his career. However, due to his intelligence, he is also very arrogant and narcissistic. He is also wrathful, often lashing out at Ninja Heavy for his stupidity and holding an vengeful hatred towards Demo and Rappy. However, when things do not go his way, Ninja Spy resorts to dirty tricks to get what he wants - after failing to convince Rappy can't tell him where he hides his stuff, he creates a strategy at the Mann Co. by hypnotized him with a clock. This is enough time for Ninja Spy to see their hideout and take their stuff.
Ninja Spy's main motivation is money. He comes across as greedy and materialistic, and more importantly, he has his own money, which ultimately fuels his narcissistic ambitions that fool many people. Ninja Spy's own greed doesn't stop him from complaining about the greed he sees in people because when they find their money, they want to keep it. His arrogance always overwhelms him, which often leads to an obsession with money. He is usually quiet and cultured, tries not to draw public attention to his evil plans, and speaks in a remarkably calm voice even when engaging in some criminal deeds.
However, he is prone to frequent rages when things don't go as planned and Demo and Rappy defeat him. Despite being able to fight many freaks, Ninja Spy has proven to be an absolute coward when it comes to dangerous situations, taking the bag of money to run away with his assistant Ninja Heavy possibly killed by Fiammetta, or running away and swearing has that this would not happen. it would be the last time they would see him before he finally falls off a cliff.
Abilities[]
- Abnormal Agility & Speed: Ninja Spy is cunning and mostly uses his high agility while in battle. He is able to almost always react to incoming attacks accordingly, and is extremely fast delivering sword hits, being a skillful sword expert himself. The combination of his speed, agility and his skilled sword mastery can easily overwhelm most of his opponents.
- Weapon Mastery: His favorite way of fighting is dual-welding two Shahanshahs, which he uses with proficiency. He uses a Big Kill revolver as a ranged weapon, as well as some other tricks he uses on occasion. He has a Dead Ringer that he can use to feign his own death or escape an otherwise deadly blow. He can also use this watch to control the minds of those without a strong brain, like velociraptors. In his early appearances, Ninja Spy would take other classes' weapons to use in his battles (example: he took a Demoman's grenades and the fire axe of a Pyro for his own deeds). Oddly enough, the Ninja Spy demonstrated the ability to copy same-colored teammates in his first appearance, an ability that is deemed impossible for regular Spies to perform.
Though not an ability in itself, he has contacts and can bribe Gray Mann, who will use his robotic army in order to aid the Ninja in whatever his schemes are.
