Nyarlathotep is an Outer God and the creator of the non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Appearance[]
Due to his ability to take countless forms, it's unsure what Nyarlathotep really looks like and, for the sake of one's sanity, it probably is better to not know.
Personality[]
Despite being an extremely ancient entity, Nyarlathotep has a rather casual behavior and acts as if all his crimes were nothing than a hobby or a game. Ultimately, Nyarlathotep finds great pleasures in causing troubles of every kind to humans. Ironically, among his kind Nyarlathotep is probably the most human-like one personality-wise. Despite everything, Nyarlathotep genuinely loves his own wife, while the relationship with his children is a bit more complex.
Biography[]
Nyarlathotep has tormented humanity for a countless amount of time, causing chaos and destruction in many different ways and being behind many historic events as well, like the begging of many wars or Atlantis sinking.
Getting bored with his usual methods, Nyarlathotep started thinking about new ways to cause harm to humankind, until he came to know about crypto values. Under the fake identities of Kevin McCoy and Anil Dash, Nyarlathotep created the first known NFT before proceeding to create many more under many other fake identities to encourage other artists to make their own NFTs, knowing fully that this would destroy the environment.
While doing this, Nyarlathotep also secretly pulled the strings of Warner Bros., doing horrible choices on purpose, such as causing the infamous purge of many beloved cartoons. Eventually, Nyarlathotep would also create NFTs of the franchise The Lord of the Rings.
