The Octarian Terrorist Leader is the posthumous overarching antagonist of the Splatoon fanfic Kissing and Killing in Inkopolis by TheBiggestBigBoi.
She was the mysterious leader of a group of Octarian terrorists who attacked Plankton Point, the economic hotspot of Inkopolis in the story's setting. She and the rest of her group attacked and murdered dozens of Inklings for completely unknown reasons. While they were attacking, a single warrior, Hamilton "Dualbrush" Mesony, challenged them and killed every single one of them, including their leader. However, the terrorists managed to succeed in their goal since Inkopolis was never the same afterwards.
Personality[]
From the brief snippets that is given in the prologue, the Terrorist Leader shows herself to be a vicious and sadistic monster. She commands her minions to attack defenseless civilians and is clearly enjoying herself. Other than that, not much is known about her personality outside of being a murderous terrorist.
Biography[]
According to the poem The Woes of Dualbrush, (which doubles as the Prequel) the terrorists attacked during a festival, when the Inklings' guards were down. It’s unknown what exactly their end goals were, but it’s clear that they wanted to kill as many inklings as they could. They were also destructive of the area itself as indicated by how run-down Plankton Point is in the main story.
During the attack, Dualbrush attempted to stop them by immediately launching his own counterattack completely on his own. He easily cut down the terrorists due to his superior fighting ability and sheer brute strength. According to him, there had to be over twenty terrorists attacking that day. Eventually, he came face-to-face with the leader of the terrorists and the due of them fought brutally. After a heated battle, Dualbrush came out on top and valiantly killed the leader by crashing both of his weapons upon her.
Legacy[]
While the Octarian Terrorist Leader doesn't have a physical presence in the story, her impact is felt throughout. She's the one who caused the economic collapse of Inkopolis in the first place by attacking Plankton Point, leading to a heavy increase in the crime rate. This led to a chain of events that eventually resulted in the crime lord Lavender Royalhue founding the Wrath-Violet Gang and taking over the criminal underworld of Inkopolis.
Plankton Point, once a festive place and an economic hotspot, has now been completely abandoned and run-down. It's practically a completely separate state from Inkopolis since it seems to be directly controlled by Royalhue himself, and it's heavily implied that the only residents there are Wrath-Violets. It's also implied that they had something to do with the arson death of Dualbrush's wife since she became mayor and tried to put an end to it. Mayor Victor Velvettson took her place and attempted to solve it by creating a bounty-hunting system, but that hasn't solved anything either, possibly making the situation worse. In any case, if it wasn't for the Octarian terrorists, Inkopolis would be a significantly better place to live in.
