“ | For centuries, I've conquered worlds, adding them into my collection of my own glory. Now that I learned that this worlds have the power I see. I can now be the ruler of Time and Space itself! | „ |
~ Omegus to Jack Sparks and Devos. |
Omegus (originally named Nero Omegosax) is a major antagonist of Legends of The Champions Universe. Unlike his canon counterpart, this Omegus is a deconstructed character while his demonic god form is a separate character named Daemos who rules the Chaotic Under-Realm. He was a owner of an energy factory from another universe on a planet called Zeniterria. It wasn't until he decided to usurp the king of the planet and became a ruthless power-hungry dictator. He also is the founder and leader of the Flaming Cabal.
After conquering his own universe he discovered a ancient temple that was once owned by mad monks who worships Nekrozoth. Omegus discovered ancient scrolls and technology and found a way to travel to other dimensions and universes for him to conquer. He became a follower of Nekrozoth and gained dark powers as a result. He became a conqueror of dimensions and universes, believing the Multiverse itself was made for him to rule over.
In the series he attempted to invade the planet Earth, drain it from all its magic and power to become more powerful. However this lead to his death at the hands of the Champions. He does however become the ruler of the Underworld and leads a army of demons from Hell to ravage planets in Nekrozoth's name.
History[]
Rise To Power[]
Omegus was a feared being worshiped by his own race known as Zeniterrians from Zenitarria. However prior to his rise to power he was a cruel owner of a energy factory who abuses his own men by putting them to work in extremely hazardous conditions and taxed the poor peasants with harsh taxes impossible for them to pay.
However he gained a hunger for power and conquest, so he lead a violent coup where he usurped former king of Zeniterria and had him executed through decapitation. Establishing a dictatorship on the planet. Growing tired of ruling just one planet, he decided to expand his rule beyond the stars and lead centuries of conquest and bloodshed. Omegus would than expand his empire and create the Flaming Cabal for the conquest of his universe. Omegus successfully conquered the entire universe but still wasn't satisfy for his achievement. Wanting more, Omegus searcher a means of discovering more territories to conquer until he stumble upon an ancient temple on a deserted planet. The temple once was run by deranged followers of the Dark-Lord Nekrozoth, there he found ancient scrolls and technology containing forbidden magic and science. He used them to summon Nekrozoth, and used him to gain dark powers that made him into a powerful demigod by selling his wife's soul. He condemned the people of Zeniterria to slavery under the Omega-Lord's rule as Omegus forced them to worship Nekrozoth and worship him as their all-powerful ruler.
Knowing there are more worlds for him to conquer, Omegus used the temple as his new castle and used the technology and sorcery to open portals to other dimensions for him to conquer.
Conquest and Crimes[]
Omegus began his siege across the omniverse, slaughtering more people as well as selling the innocence to slavery. He would also harvest the oil of each planet he comes across by destroying them. Omegus tortured, kill, and enslave those that opposes him and sold powerful artifacts and weapons to other overlords for the highest bidder.
Omegus lust for power grew as was his paranoia, so he people kidnapped and experimented on in order to find a way to achieve godhood. Whenever he comes to visit the labs, he makes the experiments more horrific and cruel by the day.
Personality[]
“ | I'm superior in every way. Ways that which are beyond your feeble comprehension! | „ |
~ Omegus boasting. |
Omegus is a blood thirsty, egotistical, narcissistic and a megalomaniac tyrant seeking only the domination of every single living being he comes across. He is uncaring of anything even the lives of his own species as he view himself to be superior to all that even he thinks that showing feelings or compassion is a sign of weakness. A ruthless leader, Omegus is a heartless monster with plans of ruling creation as a supreme god. he believes that he is neither good or evil as he believes such concepts are irrelevant and takes great pride on his powers. Omegus is authority and self centered, having cults worshiping him and having destroyed several religions so that he would be the only one that is worshiped. A twisted sadist, Omegus shows no remorse when he commits his atrocious acts even stated that he was merely separating the Weak from the Strong. His thirst for conquest is infinite that he would travel across time and space to get what he want.
Having a superiority complex and a god complex, seeing himself as an all-powerful demigod on the planet who demands respect and worship from his followers. Leading him to be an authoritative and tyrannical despot, who's ego and ruthlessness makes him a feared tyrant on Zeniterria. Due to having immense power, he often rely on them which can be seen as a flaw that was exploited by Legend. He is intolerant of failure like a typical tyrant, but instead killing his men he merely banish them to slavery as his means of demoting them. However despite his smug sense of superiority he is rather paranoid, as he does acknowledge the possibilities of beings who maybe more powerful than himself. As a result he seeks to become a god no matter what, even condemning those to inhumane experiments.
He is very strategic and very intelligent having to conquer a significant portion of the Omniverse. He was even successful on even conjuring the underworld and having to make the daemons his servants. He is also manipulative and deceptive nature, showing to be crafty and exploitative as he exploited Devos's weakness about his association with his neglectful father and used it to his advantage. He even took advantage on Devos's temper, using insults to get Devos's attention knowing full well about Devos has a small temper which is how Omegus defeated him. He successfully lead a violent coup and usurped the former king of Zeniterria in which he became the ruthless dictator of the planet that he is now.
Omegus does take joy in conquest and bloodshed, but he see himself as more of a "collector of worlds" who's sees the planet he conquers as collections that symbolize his glory and how triumphant he is. Due to his immense hunger for power he believes that he can control the fabric of time and space, thinking that the multiverse was made for him to conquer and even destroy if he wishes. He is prone to be very murderous and enjoys battling strong opponents and is capable of showing respects to those who he finds entertaining to battle. He sees Legend as a worthy adversary to battle and shows some degree of respects to him. However this does not stop him from attempting to kill those he dubbed as worthy opponents as he believed they are worthy to die at his hand and is willing to steal their powers for his own if he thinks their powers belong to him now or if he finds him to be too strong to the point of being a true threat to him. Thus this shows that he is not truly honorable, just capable of showing respects to others.
He despise cowardice, as he will kill his own men for retreating from the battle field or run away from a fight. Though this can be seen as hypocritical as he tends to use dirty tactics which can be seen as cowardly, like trying to poison the Earth's atmosphere in order to kill his enemies. He also had once fled from a battle with Legend himself, showing that he is indeed a coward himself and a hypocrite.
Trivia[]
- Though a complete monster, he see himself as a being above good and evil but he does relish on being called a monster. Similar to his original creation.
- BrandonDarkOne47 originally was going to make Omegus and Daemos separate characters from the beginning until he decided to make them the same characters.
- He stated that he was born "in a place of poverty and famine where people like him had to pick up scraps and trash to survive". If he true to his word and not some lie then he may have an excuse for his thirst for power, but it won't excuse him for his other atrocities.
- If he were true then it may leave a question on how he became an energy factory boss in the first place.
