One-Eye is a major antagonist in Disney's 70th full-length animated feature film The Lion King: Kopa's Heart, the fourth and final installment of The Lion King franchise.

He is a male leopard who hunts to survive. When Simba and his friends, Timon and Pumbaa, wandered into One-Eye's territory, the leopard schemed with his followers to hunt and eat them. With the help of his minions, One-Eye lured them into an ambush and launched an attack. The friends escaped up Monkey Mountain, and Simba scared off One-Eye's followers by making a huge, booming roar. Pumbaa then knocked One-Eye off the side of the mountain.

Years later, when Simba defeated Scar and took his place as the rightful king, One-Eye along with Shriek, Snarl and Chewa and Choyo went on serving Khãn to take over the pride lands and get revenge on Timon and Pumbaa for defending Simba like that.

He is voiced by TBA.

Appearances[]

One-Eye is a lithe golden leopard with black spots on his pelt. His eyes are red, and the tips of his ears are tinged black. His front paws are white, while his back paws are the same bright gold as his main pelt. He has a slash over his left eye, an injury he received from a fight with a warthog.

Personality[]

One-Eye is conniving, cruel, and intimidating. Even Shriek refuses to rebel against him, despite having a hunting dog and a vulture on their side. One-Eye harbors a deep fear of warthogs due to a past fight he had with one that resulted in the loss of vision in his left eye.

Background[]

Past[]

One-Eye lived in the jungle. He once got into a fight with a warthog, which left him blinded in one eye. At some point in his life, he became the leader of a gang of misfit animals, which included a hyena named Shriek.

One day, One-Eye's vulture minion spotted Simba and his friends, Timon and Pumbaa, trekking through the jungle. After the vulture reported his findings to One-Eye, the leopard commented that only Pumbaa posed a threat to them. He then plotted with his gang to take down and eat the three strangers.

Under One-Eye's instructions, the gang lured Simba and his friends into an ambush. The friends were soon surrounded, and Pumbaa volunteered to stay behind while his friends made for the safety of Monkey Mountain. When faced with Pumbaa, One-Eye hesitated for a moment, then attacked alongside his minions. Pumbaa managed to escape by slamming into a tree and releasing a hive of bees on his enemies.

After escaping the bees, One-Eye and his followers returned in a rage. With the predators in hot pursuit, Simba and his friends fled into Monkey Mountain. While inside the cave, Simba made a huge, booming roar that scared off One-Eye's followers. Pumbaa took advantage of the confusion to lunge at One-Eye and send him plummeting off the mountain.

Trivia[]

  • One-Eye is similar to Scar from The Lion King; both are predators with a scar over their left eye who use hyenas to do their bidding.
