At the end of this day, you all shall die!
~ A twisted version of "At the end of the day, one shall stand, one shall fall."

Optimus Prime, originally known as Orion Pax, is a major antagonist of the TFI Creations Youtube series, appearing as one of the two main antagonists, alongside the Fallen, of the Gigawatt Quadrilogy.

He is the leader of the villainous Autobots within the Shattered Glass universe, a world where the Autobots are bloodthirsty terrorists, and the Decepticons are heroic rebels. After his defeat by the hands of Gigawatt, he is left within the Dead Universe and is recruited by The Fallen alongside a Galvatron from another dimension. He is voiced by SpookyDMan.

Personality[]

While the traditional Optimus Prime believed in the freedom of all sentient beings and only enacted violence when pushed to his absolute limit, Shattered Glass Optimus is portrayed as a deranged sociopath that kills to satisfy his bloodthirst. Optimus is also shown to be very possessive towards Ariel, his former Girlfriend. However, when he kills her, he shows remorse for his actions. However, it’s the only time he displays any redeeming qualities

History[]

Origin[]

When Gigawatt went back in time to Megatron and Orion Pax’s falling out, he showed video evidence of what will happen if Megatron enacts the Cybertronian war. While Megatron changes his mind, Orion grew angered by what Megatron would attempt in the now hypothetical future. He points his blaster towards Megatron, but was calmed down by Ariel. Gigawatt leaves the archived footage with Orion as a reminder, and attempts to return to the future. But before he could leave, Orion blasted him through a glass wall, and Gigawatt was sent Back to the Future. Afterwards, Orion took the archives and studied them, and was driven to insanity. When he was denied the Matrix of Leadership, Orion rebuilt himself into Optimus Prime, and formed a tyrannical political entity known as the Autobot Imperium to purge all Decepticons from Cybertron.

Shattered Glass[]

Once Gigawatt reappears a few years later, he is captured by Autobots and introduces him to his cruel and unusual punishments towards Decepticon troops. When Gigawatt attempts to leave, Optimus orders Blurr to chase him down, but was unsuccessful. Optimus captures Impactor to uncover the Decepticon base. When he refuses, Optimus sends a message to the Deception, warning his enemies of the consequences. While Gigawatt refuses himself in order to fix the past, Jetfire heads to the Autobot base to inform them of the Decepticons. Once the Autobots arrived, they began to assault the base to capture Gigawatt, but were only able to capture the Decepticons and Ariel. When Optimus interrogates Ariel, he attempts to bring her back to her side. But when she proclaimed that she was no longer his, Optimus kills her on the spot. When he interrogates Megatron, Optimus gets called out for his abuse, and decides to execute his enemy. When Gigawatt returns after failing to fix the timeline, he crashes into Optimus, and Megatron takes him back to their base for repairs. Meanwhile, Optimus apologies to Ariel, while mourning over her corpse. Moments later, Optimus armors up and orders every Autobot through a space bridge towards Earth, the planet the Decepticons fled to. However, once Optimus, Jetfire, and a few more Autobots walk through the portal, it closes right behind them, leaving the rest of the Autobots back on Cybertron. The Autobots engage in a fight with Megatron, Gigawatt, and some seekers, and ends with Gigawatt trapping Optimus within the Dead Universe, forced to watch his sins play in loop over and over again. The rest of the Autobots are forced to surrender, and are locked within the Ark’s prison cell by the remaining Decepticons.

Rise of the Fallen[]

Optimus is approached by the Fallen within the Dead universe, and is recruited by him. He promises Optimus that if he joins the Fallen’s cause, he can be given anything he desires, including the death of Gigawatt. When the Fallen threatens him with death if he disobeys, Optimus assured him that he will be loyal to him no matter what. The two wait within the Dead Universe for Gigawatt, who is endured with the power of the Dark Spark, to come to them. Once he finds them, the two ambush him and use his new powers to escape their prison. Optimus armoire back up and slaughters the entire decepticon army. The two recover the Dark Spark from the wreckage of the Ark, and use it to travel to the RE-Interstellar universe. Optimus and the Fallen encounter that universe’s version of Nemesis Prime and Galvatron, and the former was killed  by the Fallen. When Galvatron mourns the death of his reviver, Optimus orders Galvatron to stand down, and the fallen recruits Galvatron into his cause. The trio ambushes Gigawatt who fled to the OR-Interstellar universe, and the Fallen attempted and failed to bring him to his side, and leave him in that universe. They return to the Shattered Glass universe, and the Fallen gifted Optimus and Galvatron with new upgraded forms with the power of the Dark Energon Matrix. When the Fallen transforms into his final form, Optimus expressed his disgusted towards the Fallen’s new look. They eventually learned that Gigawatt is forming a team to take them down, and decided to wait for them to come face them. Optimus is excited over the fact that he gets to kill more enemies, something that Galvatron was impressed by. Once Gigawatt arrives to try and convince the disciples that the Fallen is lying, Optimus expresses that he doesn’t care, as long as he gets to kill Gigawatt. The Fallen orders then to execute Gigawatt, but his team arrive to protect him from their firepower. The heroic primes distract the disciples long enough for Gigawatt to pursue the fallen throughout the multiverse. Once the two return, The Fallen orders Optimus to execute Gigawatt, and uses his ion blaster to blast his arm off. However, Gigawatt has one final trick. He grabs a matrix-infused Star Saber, and calls for the other primes to use their matrixes against the villains. While the Fallen was merely weakened by the blast, Galvatron and the Shattered Glass Optimus were disintegrated, ending their heinous crimes for good.

Trivia[]

  • Shattered Glass Optimus Prime is based off of the official Shattered Glass series, where every character had their morality switched. But unlike that version of Optimus, this Optimus started out good and was driven to insanity by Gigawatt’s archives
  • If the first three parts were based off of the Back to the Future trilogy, then Optimus might’ve been loosely based off of the alternate timeline version of Biff Tannen from Back to the Future Part II.
  • In the original version of Gigawatt: Shattered Glass, Optimus was portrayed as more abusive towards Ariel. He used terms like “Sl#t and F!ck when speaking to her. The director of the series, Samuel Jay Flatman, did not like these additions so he removed these scenes from the film.
  • Throughout the series, Shattered Glass Optimus was portrayed by the following figures:
    • Orion Pax: Evolution Optimus Prime (Leader Class, 2018)
    • Optimus Prime: Shattered Glass Optimus Prime & Shattered Glass Ratchet (2-Pack, 2020)
    • Upgraded: Transformers: Bumblebee PREMIUM Shattered Glass Optimus Prime
