Final showdown and death[]
After arriving at Rogue Ridge Apartments, Carrie and Regan freed the trio, and before they could escape, Owlman, who was anticipating the escape, killed Irma from behind her. Then, Carrie, Dennis, and Regan all fought Owlman together. However, Owlman pulld out his gun and shoots Dennis in the right shoulder, resulting in Regan calling 911 and having him taken to the hospital. Then, Sue Snell grabbed Bob's gun, and shot at Owlman, but his costume helped him block it. After he injured Carrie with his gun, Sue and Owlman got into a lengthy fight, which Owlman managed to win by shooting Sue in the stomach, fatally wounding her. Owlman sucker punched Carrie, then he climbed to the roof. When Owlman attempted to escape, Carrie used Bob's gun and shot Owlman in the back of his left leg, sending him falling onto the roof. Then, Owlman pulled out his hunting rifle, only for it to be crushed by Carrie using her telekinesis. He then kicked her in the kneecaps, and then Carrie approached Owlman with Bob's gun drawn. After that, Owlman begged for Carrie to spare him by giving her money so he could set up a trust fund for her family, but she doesn't buy it. After Owlman revealed himself as the mastermind behind the media craze, Carrie then grabbed and lifted him.
