PJ Pug-a-Pillar is a supporting antagonist-turned-ally in the Poppy Playtime fanfic Poppy Playtime ~ An Angel's Bleeding Heart. He is the host and the main obstacle of the Statues game. Gabriel Gibbins must play a game of red light green light while trying to get to the end, all while trying to avoid PJ Pug-A-Pillar.
History[]
Franklin Tally was an orphan taken in by Playtime CO's Playcare. Like all other toys at Playtime Co. he was selected by the factory to become part of the Bigger Bodies Initiative, PJ Pug-A-Pillar. Along with Bunzo Bunny and the Mini-Huggies, PJ was selected as one of the mascots of the game station, the company's way of selecting more orphans to become toys themselves. On August 8, 1995, the Prototype would orchestrate the Hour of Joy; leading the living toys to rebel against Playtime CO. and take over the factory, killing all the adults in the process, with PJ swallowing at leat one adult whole.
10 years after the Hour of Joy, he still was wandering around the Game Station, growing more hungry. When Gabriel Gibbins returned to the factory in order to find out what happened with his coworkers and finished the first two games, Mommy Long Legs sent him to the third and last one, Statues. There PJ slowly chases him during the game, intending to eat him if he reaches hiem. However, Gabriel eventually escapes through a window because the exit of the game room is covered in rubble, rendering it impossible to win. Noticing that PJ rears himself up to Gabriel in order to kill and devour him, he throws the metal pipe to him, successfully distracting PJ.
After Gabriel saved Mommy from being grinded to death, she decided to follow him in order to find more of him and took Huggy Wuggy and all of the Game Station toys, including PJ, with herself. After getting to the Playcare, they encountered Daisy and found out from her that he's heading for the Playhouse. There they found DogDay and Kissy Missy who came to save the remaining Smiling Critters. When Poppy arrives to the Playhouse and helped the duo realise that CatNap fooled them by making them believe that he's gonna finish the Smiling Critters first, PJ alongside the toys showed his annoyance towards their naivety.
When the toys save Gabriel from CatNap, PJ was shown keeping Bobby BearHug's heart steady on his back. He then watched the Hour of Joy tape and found out from Gabriel that he accidentally found out about the experiments, which was the reason he quit his job. Riled up by the other toys' arguing, PJ figured that he should attack Smiling Critters and got closer to Bobby and CraftyCorn, but KickinChicken get in front of them, ready to fight despite his fear. After Poppy noticed that Gabriel disappeared while the toys were arguing, she informed them about it, making all of them worry. Later, PJ was present when DogDay, Huggy and Mommy returned with Gabriel to clean him off and prepare him to the healing process. He was also present during the Prototype's return, when he took a gallon of blood from Gabriel to heal his wounds and promised that he won't let him stand on his way, before leaving the toys.
