PTLD-93 (or simply just PTLD in The Tubbyland Archives) is one of the overarching antagonists of the Tubbyland series. It was created by Employee 6 to sabotage TubbyLand Entertainment and kill their CEO to expose the company's dark history and later avenge the death of Employee 3, the older brother of Employee 6.

Appearance[]

PTDL is a large Tubbybot with suit pieces from all four of the scrapped Tubbybot prototypes.

In the Five Nights at Tubbyland series, its suit pieces appear to be black, but brightening a secret screen of PTLD will reveal that its suit is actually made up of various, red, green, yellow and purple pieces. The suit also appears to be somewhat transparent. The endoskeleton on both of its feet as well as upper left leg, most of its lower left leg, its upper left arm, the upper left corner of its torso, and the left side of its face is exposed. It also has no suiting for its lower jaw and its antenna is broken off. Its eyes are black with white pupils, and the lower half on its left arm is torn off, leaving long wires hanging out of the stump.

In The Tubbyland Archives, its suit pieces are more noticeably multi-colored, and are stitched together. Its left arm is now fully intact, and it's missing suit pieces in its left leg and arm, as well as the left side of its face. It has Tinky Winky's triangular antenna, but the top and most of the left side of it have been torn off. It also has blocky teeth, a large snout, four-fingered hands and boot-like feet. Its right eyes is black with a ring-shaped blue pupil, while its left is an empty socket.

Five Nights at Tubbyland[]

FNaTL 1[]

Upon clicking on the blood leaking from the Tubby Toaster in the game over screen, the player is taken to Night PTLD, where the titular character is the only enemy. During this night, every camera is pitch black except for the Dining Room, and the lights are out in the player's Office. PTLD-93 starts on the Performance Stage, and as it begins making its way to the Office from there, the only way they player will know where it is is to listen for a buzzing sound. When it reaches the Office, the player must use the CTRL key to turn on the lights for a brief moment to send it back to either the Performance Stage or Dining Room 1. If the lights are turned on while PTLD-93 isn't in the Office however, it will instantly progress to the next room in its path. Failing to keep it away will result in a jumpscare that will send the player back to the warning screen shown when booting up the game.

In the update that added Night PTLD, Noo-Noo's jumpscares that play after the Custard Machine Explosion Incident minigame and when inputting 6/6/6 into the Custom Night's AI were replaced by PTLD-93.

FNaTL 2[]

PTLD-93 plays a much smaller role, occasionally seen staring at the player when the monitor is brought down before quickly ducking out of sight. It and Noo-Noo also appear as transparent silhouettes during the Custard Machine Explosion Incident cutscene after beating 6/20 mode. It's later revealed that PTLD-93 killed TubbyLand Entertainment's CEO after the events of the game, leading to the building being shut down.

FNaTL 3[]

On any night, it will appear in the Office at random, and the player must quickly pull up the monitor to keep it from attacking. It appears more frequently during Night X, which is accessed by clicking on an option that briefly appears under Custom Night after beating 8/20 mode.

When going to the title screen, PTLD-93's head appears in the bottom right corner for a second. Clicking on it takes the player to a secret minigame, where while controlling PTLD-93 they're tasked with finding a Tubbybot to "do the job". PTLD-93 soon finds Po, and upon touching her a jumpscare of Po will play before the game restarts.

The Tubbyland Archives[]

Act 1[]

Occasionally PTLD will appear in the Party Room, and after the player sees it it'll rush into the Office, the game crashing when it arrives.

After finding the hidden room in the sixth post-night minigame, the player will have access to Night X. During this bonus night, a cutscene playes of Employee 6 controlling PTLD as it barges into the Tubbyland Activity Center and begins looking for the CEO. The player plays as said CEO in the aforementioned secret room as PTLD hunts for them, having to use Noo-Noo and its music box to lure PTLD around the building until a device that can shut it down is readey. When PTLD is in the same room as Noo-Noo, it will attack and cause him 25% damage. If Noo-Noo either doesn't stall PTLD long enough or is destroyed by it, PTLD will soon enter the secret room and kill the player. If the device reaches 100% however, PTLD will be deactivated shortly after entering the secret room and the CEO will escape. In the cutscene afterwards, Employee 6 will be frustrated that his target got away before demanding PTLD to get up, leading to it reactivating.

PTLD-93's mechanic in FNaTL 3 is most likely inspired by Golden Freddy in Five Nights at Freddy's and its prequel.
The 93 in PTLD-93's name was short for 1993, but this detail had no significance and was scrapped in TTLA. (It's confirmed not to be referring to the year it was created, as the Teletubbies series didn't premier until 1998.)
FNaTL 3's secret minigame used to end with a jumpscare of PTLD-93, but it was later replaced by a jumpscare of a distorted version of Po.
Its jumpscare sound in TTLA Act 1 is a reversed version of its sound in the first FNaTL.
