Painset Shimmercakes is the main antagonist of Youtube user TheInvertedShadow, as well as the main antagonist of A Tale of Two Derps.
During her time as Summer Shimmer, she had an ardent desire to obliterate Twilight Sparkle. However, when her plans didn't unfold as expected, she unwittingly unleashed her destructive powers upon Painis Vagicake's tomb, resulting in a dreadful curse that transformed her into a monstrous being with godlike abilities, capable of slaying anyone who crosses her path. Consumed by an insatiable thirst for more power, she has now become fixated on attaining godhood before annihilating the entire Freak World, leaving no trace of its existence.
In addition, she possesses the essence of Painis Vagicake, a characteristic that proves to be more harmful than beneficial. This attribute serves as her downfall and has made her a formidable foe for both Twilight Sparkle (also known as Brutalight Sparcake), and Rainbine.
Appearance[]
Sunset Shimmer underwent a transformation from being a unicorn with tan fur, cyan-colored eyes, a sun-themed mane and tail in red and yellow, and a cutie mark depicting a shimmering sun. However, after assuming the identity of Painset Shimmercakes, her appearance underwent further changes. Her fur now displayed specks of blue scattered throughout, and her eyes now showcased heterochromia, with her right eye being green and her left eye being red (similar to FlutterShout, although there is no relation between the two). Additionally, her mane and tail transformed into a bold blood red shade, complemented by a BLU-style coloring. The most notable alteration was the replacement of her original cutie mark with the image of a Soldier's helmet, embellished with a blood circle, which could potentially symbolize Painis Vagicake.
In order to enhance her intimidating appearance, she possesses a magnificent pair of wings. These wings, derived from the mythical Pegasi, bestow upon her the extraordinary status of an Alicorn, elevating her to a godlike level. Additionally, there is a rumored alternate form of Shimmercakes that is said to be even more formidable than her current version, although it remains largely unseen. Furthermore, an intriguing notion suggests that by obtaining the soul of Painis Vagicake, she would be resurrected as the embodiment of forgiveness, thus becoming the esteemed Element of Forgiveness.

Sunset Shimmer, a pony from another dimension, had deep contemplations about the significance of being a princess and lacked faith in her own ability to fulfill that role. She even questioned the decision to bestow princesshood upon Twilight Sparkle instead of herself. However, she acknowledged her limited personal experiences and was open to sincerely listening to Twilight's perspective. However, things took a dark turn when Sunset transformed into Painset Shimmercakes due to succumbing to the possession of Painis Vagicake's soul, she was propelled into a state of absolute madness and insanity, turning her into a merciless, manipulative, sadistic, and highly intelligent persona who caused the deaths of numerous humans and creatures, including Solgineer. In addition, she underwent a complete personality shift, becoming more emotional and exhibiting traits that were the polar opposite of her host's original nature. During her intense confrontation with Rainbine, Sunset derived pleasure from the battle and displayed a disturbing level of brutality, ruthlessly obliterating Rainbine's right arm and nearly unleashing a barrage of devastating blasts upon her.
In contrast to her host Painis Vagicake, Painset Shimmercakes embodies a more malevolent and sinister persona, exhibiting a clear sadistic and cunning streak. She approaches life with a cold indifference, showing no regard for the value of others' lives, instead finding pleasure in causing destruction and mass murder. Shimmercakes constantly devises intricate and elaborate schemes, displaying a god-like presence inherited from Vagicake. She ruthlessly eliminates anyone who dares to stand in her way, leaving behind horrifying consequences for her unfortunate victims. Additionally, she possesses a dark sense of humor that others find disturbing and horrifying. Shimmercakes harbors a deep-rooted hatred for morality, deeming it a weakness that only brings suffering to people, even going so far as to label it as an illness. It is made abundantly clear that her ultimate goal is to ascend to godhood among ponies and become all-powerful, but her sadistic nature drives her to not only make everyone fear her, but also to annihilate them out of sheer pleasure. Furthermore, she harbors a strong desire to obliterate the Freak World.
Moreover, she possesses the exceptional skill of analyzing her adversaries and accurately deciphering their thoughts and desires, effectively manipulating their impulses to serve her own interests. Her greatest advantage lies in her ability to comprehend her opponents' capacity for compassion and affection, using it cunningly to manipulate and control them according to her own needs. Painset Shimmercakes possesses a keen perception of others' mindsets, which sets her apart as a more insidious and perilous character compared to the average pony. While many villains fail to comprehend empathy or believe in acts of selflessness and kindness, she not only comprehends these qualities but also exploits them to psychologically shatter the willpower of her adversaries.
As Sunset Shimmercakes gradually becomes cognizant and appalled by her actions as Painset Shimmercakes, it becomes evident that the alter ego holds a greater sway over Sunset's thoughts and behaviors than Sunset does herself. This unsettling imbalance of power ultimately results in Painset skillfully manipulating Sunset, coercing her into engaging in various criminal activities solely for the sake of her own twisted entertainment.

In their quest to find a formidable spirit capable of eliminating Twilight Sparkle, Trixie Lulamoon and Sunset Shimmer embarked on a chilling expedition to the eerie Mann Manor graveyard. Little did they know that their encounter with Fadkiller would prove futile, until an unexpected turn of events unfolded. As if driven by an insidious force, the grave of Painis Vagicake suddenly stirred, ensnaring Trixie and subjecting her to a malevolent transformation. Transmogrified into a demonic entity consumed by a relentless desire to obliterate the unsuspecting inhabitants of the freak world, including men, ponies, freaks, monsters, and everything else that inhabited the vast expanse of the GMod planet, Trixie's newfound purpose became a terrifying threat to all.
Battle against Freaks[]
Once she had transformed into a god-like abomination, her insatiable thirst for destruction led her to mercilessly killing any being that crossed her path. Her initial targets were the Solgineer, whom she gruesomely tore apart, leaving behind a horrifying scene of bloodshed. As time went on, she encountered Rainbine, who fought valiantly using all of his abilities, but ultimately succumbed to her power, sustaining severe damage and losing the use of one hand. Just as Painset Shimmercakes prepared to deliver the final blow, Soldine stepped in to protect Rainbine. The two combatants were evenly matched for a time, until Painset Shimmercakes managed to incapacitate Soldine, leaving him helpless against her wrath. However, before she could obliterate the cyborg, Major Guy Scout bravely intervened, attempting to halt her destructive rampage. Despite his best efforts, she effortlessly crushed him under her immense strength. Undeterred, she faced an upgraded Rainbine in battle once again, emerging victorious for a second time.

Taking influence from Painis Vagicake, Painset Shimmercakes possesses an extraordinary magnitude, surpassing even the might of Sunset Shimmer. She stands as an almost deity-like figure in the eyes of ponies, wielding immortality, immense power, and the ability to cause devastating destruction. Only the most omnipotent forces hold the capability to bring about her demise, rendering her seemingly invincible. With her ethereal wings, she soars through the skies with grace and ease. Moreover, Painset's intellect and perceptiveness are unparalleled, allowing her to possess an omniscient understanding of all occurrences within both Freak World and Equestria. Additionally, her powers are further enhanced, granting her the capacity to utilize Shimmer's own magical abilities, enabling her to transform into a human form at will.
There has been speculation surrounding her immense power, suggesting that it is so formidable that it poses a significant threat to the entire Multiverse. This potential danger is expected to trigger the active participation of various influential entities such as the Elements of Insanity, Fadkiller, Nightmare Medic, and numerous other exceptionally powerful individuals known as freaks.

- Shimmercakes is constantly faced with the challenge of controlling her uncontrollable outbursts and managing the immense power within her due to possessing a unique spirit in her body. These outbursts can sometimes become overwhelming, and she struggles to contain such overwhelming power. Interestingly, Vagicake's creator, despite not being familiar with the series, predicts that these outbursts will only intensify over time, increasing in severity.
- It is widely speculated, and Painis Vagicake's creator strongly believes, that the continuous influence of Vagicake will gradually wear down Shimmercakes' physical and mental well-being. If this influence is not somehow expelled before the degradation progresses too far, it is feared that it may ultimately lead to her demise. Additionally, there is a belief that she may also be susceptible to AssNick's scream, although this hypothesis has yet to be confirmed.
