Papyrus is a major antagonist in the Undertale fancomic Negativetale, serving as the main antagonist in the Snowdin arc.

Biography

Papyrus is introduced as Sans' egomaniacal, hot-tempered, and sociopathic brother who is heavily implied to abuse the former. Papyrus is also shown to revile his brother's puns to the point where he'll attack Sans without hesitation just for making a single pun.

During this interaction, Sans eventually convinces Papyrus to try and find someone to fight, which gets him to leave. Later on, Papyrus meets the human at the end of Snowdin Town, after being told by Sans that a human was present.

During his fight with the human, he expresses his desires to not only join the Royal Guard, but to surpass Undyne and become the captain himself, and execute the weak during the Festival.

However, the battle is ultimately cut short when he gets killed by his own brother Sans, the former having orchestrated the entire battle in order to trick his brother into leaving himself vulnerable.

Appearance

Papyrus' appearance is similar to his counterpart from Undertale, with the main differences being in the color of his outfit. His chestplate is now dark grey with spiked pauldrons, one of which is broken. He also wears a light blue cape, gloves, and boots, with a brown hip piece. Like his brother, Papyrus has a crack on his head.

Personality

Papyrus is brutal, merciless, egotistical, and sadistic, and views the weak as expendable and worthless; that includes his own brother. He views Undyne as an obstacle in his goals and seems to be a fanatic of the King.
