Patrick "Desmond" Star is the main antagonist of the 2 parter video Spongebob in Among Us created by AquaticNeptune. After having his space food stolen in order to fuel Mr. Krabs' never-ending lust for profit, the former proceeds to go on a killing spree, killing almost everybody on the ship. Right when he is about to add Spongebob to his list of victims in order to tie up any loose ends, his skull is bashed by Gary with a coconut.
Afterwards, it is revealed that Gary and Sandy were also one of the "impostors" before Sandy crashes the ship into an asteroid, killing everybody on the ship and finally putting an end to the carnage. He is voiced and puppeteered by AquaticNeptune.
Biography[]
Spongebob Squarepants Among Us[]
While outside, Spongebob begins to hear a variety of machinery in the distance. When he decides to investigate the strange noises, he discovers Sandy Cheeks constructing a space ship in an attempt to go on a 3-day trip to Mars, which should finish construction in the next few days. Excited to hopefully go to space for the very first time, Spongebob agrees to help Sandy maintain the space ship and proceeds to go recruit Patrick. When informed about the trip, Patrick fears that they may be attacked by aliens while on the ship and decides to bring some Flex Seal, intending to use it as "anti-alien spray".
A few days later, Sandy finishes construction on the space ship and Spongebob, Patrick and a few other recognisable faces arrive on the ship, including a random guy called Ben who is implied to have snuck onto the ship as not even Sandy knows who he is. After being given a quick rundown about the mechanics of the ship, Sandy orders the crew to go around the ship and complete tasks in order to prevent the ship from malfunctioning. As the crew quickly completes their respective tasks, Patrick discovers a cupboard filled with "space food", which also catches the attention of Mr. Krabs, who steals the snacks from Patrick and proceeds to sell them to the crew as "space krabby patties". The space patties becomes a hit among the crew and quickly sells out, forcing poor Squidward to go eat a chum burger from Plankton.
While Mr. Krabs is counting up the money he earned in the gym, Patrick enters and confronts him about how he stole the space food from the ladder for money. Mr. Krabs states that he was right for selling the space food, as Patrick would've simply hogged all the food to himself. This puts Patrick into a blind rage, and he savagely beats him to death with a dumbbell. Right as he is about to leave, Ben stumbles upon the scene and attempts to turn Patrick in. Unfortunately, Patrick grabs him by the neck with a jump-rope and flails him about, killing him. Spongebob enters the gym intending to find his Timberlands, which he had left behind when he was talking with Squidward in the gym. Panicking, Patrick flees the scene, leaving a horrified Spongebob as he stares at the lifeless corpses of his boss and Ben.
Upon his discovery, Spongebob calls a meeting and informs the rest of the crew about the deaths of Mr. Krabs and Ben. When Spongegar is questioned by Spongebob on who he thinks the killer is, the former enters a blind rage and attacks Plankton. Believing him to be the culprit, Spongebob convinces the crew to vote off Plankton due to him being rivals with Eugene. After he is ejected into space, it is revealed that Plankton was in fact not the impostor, and the crew continues with their tasks, this time keeping an eye on their surroundings. While planning out his next move, Patrick bumps into Spongebob who introduces him to Mini Spongebob, who is disliked by Gary. After Spongebob leaves, Patrick heads towards the vents and climbs inside of them. Unbeknownst to him, Squidward hears Patrick crawling around in the vents, but thinks nothing of it.
Spongebob Among Us 2 - Impostor Caught[]
While hanging out with his cronies, Squilliam suddenly gains the urge to use the bathroom. He tasks his cronies with guarding the door until he returns. However, he unknowingly becomes Patrick's next target, with him planning to kill Squilliam in an attempt to frame Squidward. Meanwhile, Gary bakes a replica of himself with his scalp completely removed in order to get back at Spongebob for paying more attention to Mini Spongebob than him. During all of this, Patrick attacks and kills Squilliam and successfully escapes before Harold can discover him.
Meanwhile, Spongebob is searching for his next task when he comes across Gary's decoy, believing it to be the real Gary. Before he can report the body however, Gerald and Harold call a meeting claiming that Squidward killed Squilliam in the bathroom. After Spongebob describes Gary as looking as if he were cut up, he notices Squidward attempting to hide the garden shears he was using to cut Sandy's plants and believes that Squidward killed both Squilliam and Gary. With everyone else having alibis, the crew ejects Squidward from the ship.
After the meeting comes to an end, Gary reveals that he faked his death to get back at Spongebob, who berates him for getting Squidward ejected out of the ship. As Patrick wanders the ship, believing that he has successfully evaded justice, he learns that Jimmy Nuetron had just put the pieces together and was planning to tell everybody that the impostor was Patrick. In order to prevent this, Patrick bludgeoned him with a mallet until he was sure that he was dead. However,he had been so focused on killing Jimmy that he completely forgot to shut the door, resulting in Spongegar witnessing the entire murder play out. Knowing that Spongegar would be unable to tell the others the truth, Patrick decided to frame him by making it seem like Spongegar had killed Jimmy. Gerald and Harold, believing Patrick to be innocent, attempt to protect him, which results in Spongegar brutally killing Gerald with the mallet Patrick killed Jimmy with.
Patrick ends up calling a meeting and successfully frames Spongegar. Everyone leaves the meeting confused as to why Spongegar wasn't the impostor. Feeling hungry, Harold eats some leftover food, only to find that it has been poisoned, killing him. Spongebob decides to finish his final task and leaves Mini Spongebob unattended while he goes to take out the trash. When he returns, he finds Mini Spongebob dead and Patrick standing next to the corpse. Finally, Spongebob puts the pieces together and realizes that the impostor was Patrick all along. Patrick, at first, attempts to convince Gary to vote off Spongebob,but eventually confesses to his crimes. Before he can kill Spongebob however, he is bludgeoned over the head with a coconut by Gary. Spongebob believes that he is safe, until Gary pulls a knife on him, revealing that he was an impostor too. Before Gary can stab him, Sandy reveals that she was also an impostor before crashing the ship into an asteroid, killing everybody on board.
Personality[]
Patrick, much like in the official show, is dumb and gullible. However, it is hinted at during part 2 that he may have a high level of intelligence that he is keeping secret from everyone else. This could explain how Patrick was able to stay undetected for so long without being caught, or it could just be some dumb luck.
Appearance[]
Patrick wears a pink space suit with a glass visor for his face to show. When not wearing his space suit, he wears green pants with purple coral all over.

Trivia[]
- Due to Patrick not claiming responsibility for Mini Spongebob and Harold's deaths during his confession to Spongebob, and that Gary and Sandy were impostors as well, it is possible that Sandy and Gary killed both of them instead of Patrick, but this has not been confirmed.
- Due to Gary and Sandy being impostors, it is possible that the two were in kahoots with Patrick the whole time, but there is no evidence supporting this theory.
- Although, if this theory is true, then that would mean that the murders were actually premeditated by the trio, and that the space food isn't the real motive for the killings.
- Despite Patrick being portrayed as incompetent, the way he carries out his plan suggest that he may actually be much smarter that the audience suspects.
- When Mr. Krabs' death occurs in Patrick's POV, the way both characters act completely contradicts what is shown when Patrick explains to Spongebob how he killed Mr. Krabs.
- It should also be noted that you can hear a vent opening when Patrick enters the room in his POV.
- It is implied that he has been to space before.
