Percy Poodle is the titular secondary antagonist of Playtime with Percy, a created by Fazie Funbear. He is the mascot of the closed-down Percy's Playhouse restaurnt and arcade, who is set to be sold off a week after the building's closure. During the night, he and all the other animatronics were hijacked by a Pal Percy toy and sent to hunt down a night guard named Nick. At the end of the week, Percy is taken over by Pal, who begins hunting Nick himself.

Appearance[]

Percy is a large, bipedal poodle animatronic with white fur and small black eyes with white pupils. He has a small black nose, and a wide, toothy grin. His ears, belly and toes are gray, and his hands and lower fingers are black, resembling fingerless gloves. He wears a pair of black wristbands with long white spikes, and a red collar with a large, round tag with the letter P.

After being taken over by Pal Percy, his entire body is wrapped in thick black wires, and his mouth hangs upon. His eyes are gone, and he has a large hole in his chest where Pal resides. The costuming on his hands are gone, with his endoskeleton hands having sharp gray claws, and he now wears a pair of black boots. Strangely, his torso is now thinner, and he gains a pelvis piece separate from it.

Biography[]

Percy Poodle was the mascot of Percy's Playhouse, an entertainment center for children. When the restaurant closed down however, Percy and his fellow animatronics were scheduled to be auctioned off along with many of the building's furnishings. A man named Nick is hired as a night guard to watch over the building until then to make sure nothing is damaged or stolen, and a Pal Percy toy he'd found inside takes over the animatronics, sending them to hunt him to prevent him from leaving.

After Monday night, the player is tasked with selling the animatronics online, and looking for an offer that matches the price listed, during which Percy is sold for $900. Percy himself first activates on Wednesday night, where he'll try getting into the office by forcing open the door. When he's preparing to attack, he can be seen standing near the door, staring at the player through the office window. He'll then slowly approach the door, and start trying to open it. The player will need to click and hold the door shut to keep him out, otherwise he'll bust the door open and kill them.

After Friday night, all of the other animatronics will have already been sold except for Percy, who's battery needs fixing first. In the repair room, the player must take off Percy's collar before opening up his chest, exposing his battery. For the first task, they'll need to turn three knobs until there colors match the wires above them, which must be done three times. The battery will open up, revealing another layer with three blinking lights that must be clicked on when they turn green, which must be done three times as well. Doing so will open up the last layer of the battery, where there is an empty power bar between four pairs of red switches. These switches must be flicked to the right side until the power bar is filled up, after which the battery is closed.

The attempt at repair fails however, as Percy's battery fails and starts emitting smoke soon after. Nick's boss calls him to see what's taking so long, and after being informed of the situation, tells him to replace the battery with a spare or a substitute. Unable to find a spare battery, Nick replaces it with his Pal Percy instead, as the toy has a similar battery to the animatronics. This works, and the robot accepts the substitute, however not before Pal turns on and looks at Nick with one large eye. Fake credits then begins to roll, which display Pal taking over Percy's system before the robot's arm grabs the screen and pulls the credits away. The lights in the repair room start flickering intensly, and Pal's real face shows up on his screen, laughing maniacally.

As Nick runs into the storage room, Pal takes over Percy's body and the rest of the building, wrapping both in thick black wires. he then sends the Tama-Terrors and Pal Poodles after the night guard while he tries using an early-model Pal Percy to shut off the building's power. He'll also appear in the cameras, and the player must find the image his screen is displaying to prevent his attack. After getting three out of the five charges needed to shut down the power, Pal will start coming down the hallway and banging on the door just like Percy had. Also like Percy, the player will have to hold the door shut to stop him from coming in, least he'll break the door down and attack. After getting all five changes, he'll show up at the door again, laughing madly at nick through the window before running off. Percy's face will also frequently show up spinning and laughing on the two screens in the room, and will need to be turned off with a click to prevent the cameras and EMP from breaking.

After the power has been shut off, Pal will burst down the door and tell Nick to take him home with him, wrapping him in wires and nearly killing him when he says no. Suddenly though, a demolition crew outside hits the building with a wrecking ball, causing Percy's body to be destroyed and Pal to fall out of it. Soon after, in the game's credits, a photo can be seen of Pal on the ground with Percy's broken parts scattered around him.

Trivia[]

He, the Pal Poodles, and the EMP/TamaLanki are the only three characters confirmed to be dead by the end of the game.
- Additionally, the real Percy is stated to have died when his battery failed, and Pal is just piloting his body for the rest of the game.
Percy was one of the first characters designed for the game.
- Originally, he wasn't going to be an animatronic, but a doll-like organic creature.
- His design is partially inspired by Fleegle from The Banana Splits.
When asked who would give the best hugs, the devs stated that Percy would give the best, while Rowen Rat would give the worst.
