The Phantoms are ghostly versions of the old servant animatronics that serve as minor antagonists in Five Nights at the Chum Bucket and Five Nights at The Krusty Krab: Chapter 3.
Introduction (Five Nights at The Chum Bucket only)[]
During the beginning of Night 4, the Mysterious Business Official asks the player a simple question; "Do you believe in ghosts?". After this, the player can start to encounter the phantom animatronics.
Appearance[]
Five Nights at The Chum Bucket[]
The Phantoms are charred, burnt versions of the animatronics from Five Nights at the Krusty Krab.
Phantom SpongeBob[]
Phantom SpongeBob SquarePants appears to be a burnt, and charred version of SpongeBob SquarePants. He is missing his left eye with many wires sticking out of it, his right eye is missing its pupil, and he is covered in red scratch marks. SpongeBob's right tooth is broken, making it shorter than his left one. SpongeBob's left hand appears to be corroded and burnt. The back of SpongeBob's mouth is dislocated from his body.
Phantom Squidward[]
Phantom Squidward Tentacles appears to be a burnt, charred version of Squidward Tentacles. Squidward is covered in red scratch marks, is missing his left eye, and his right eye is without a pupil.
Phantom Patrick[]
Phantom Patrick Star appears to be a burnt, and charred version of Patrick Star. Patrick has burn marks located all over him. He is missing his right eye, though his left one still has a pupil, unlike Phantom SpongeBob SquarePants and Phantom Squidward Tentacles.
Five Nights at The Krusty Krab: Chapter 3[]
They all appear similar to their show counterparts[1][2][3], except they are burnt in most areas and have red eyes.
Behavior[]
Five Nights at The Chum Bucket[]
The phantom animatronics behave similarly to the phantom animatronics of Five Nights at Freddy's 3[4][5][6][7][8], with a twist.
If one looks at Camera 18, Camera 5, or Camera 9 for too long, they will see one of the three phantoms. If the player pulls the monitor down, the phantoms will appear at the window, and will soon kill the player unless the monitor is pulled up.
Five Nights at The Krusty Krab: Chapter 3[]
The tape player on the desk prevents the Phantoms from attacking the player. If the tape or the power is off, they will appear as figurines and appear one by one on the desk every time the player turns away and back. Turning the tape player back on will cause the figurines to immediately vanish. Should the player turn back when all three are already on the desk, it will trigger a jumpscare.

- In FNatKK3, they are the only characters to be active on Night 5 along with Hammer Head
- Their mechanic in Five Nights at The Chum Bucket is similar to Golden Flumpty's mechanic in ONAF 3 and Golden Freddy's mechanic in Fnaf 1
