| “ | If you look around the building, I'm sure you're gonna see an inverted Mickey character. Now don't be alarmed, oddly enough from what we've observed, this thing can only hear, it has pretty weak vision. If it does happen to wander into your workspace, just turn off one of your security cameras. The loud sound the camera makes should lure that thing away. | „ |

Photo-Negative Mickey is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside The Face) of the Five Nights at Treasure Island series.
Photo-Negative Mickey is a Toon resembling Mickey Mouse with an inverted coloration-scheme that wanders around the abandoned Treasure Island resort, stalking and attempting to kill anyone who enters. Unlike the other toons, Photo-Negative Mickey relies on his acute sense of hearing and sounds to move throughout the building due to his lack of vision.
He is voiced by AnArt1996, who also voiced Oswald's classic variation.
Appearance[]
As his name suggests, Photo-Negative Mickey is an identical copy of the iconic Mickey Mouse with inverted colors, consisting of a white body, dark blue/aqua skin, cyan shorts with two black buttons, black gloves and large blue shoes. His eyes are also black and his left ear is notably melting near the bottom. He is considerably melted and distorted in general.
In his "Gen 2" design and in Oblitus Casa, Photo-Negative Mickey retains with a complete overhaul into his appearance. While not as melted and distorted aside to his ears in his original incarnation, he does have visible dents in his body with a more lighter tone of white and blues, though slightly covered with yellow stains as a result from aging. This variation of his design also retains his tail for the first time.
Classic Photo-Negative Mickey removes the melting near his ear and also features white pupils and the features of the original Mickey Mouse, instead of melted and distorted features.
Behavior[]
Official[]
Photo-Negative Mickey is the first antagonist encountered in the entire game and starts in the Mascot Prep Room. Once he becomes active, he will stand up from his slumped position and make his way towards the office. To get to the office, Photo-Negative Mickey will either go through the Lounge on the left or the Freezer on the right, and will appear in the office on the corresponding side of the room depending on the path chosen. When Photo-Negative Mickey enters the player's office, the player must shut off a camera, distracting Photo-Negative Mickey as he wanders out the office to go the camera which was turned off. Alternatively, the player can turn off the light to deter him, although it only has a 50/50 chance of working. If the player leaves Photo-Negative Mickey alone in the office for too long, Photo-Negative Mickey will jumpscare and kill the player.
If the power runs out, Photo-Negative Mickey will emerge from the darkness and jumpscare the player (excluding Night 6), even if he is inactive on Custom Night.
Classic[]
Classic Photo-Negative Mickey appears in the Custom Night in Five Nights at Treasure Island as an unlockable character, and appears as the main antagonist of Classic Mode.
In the Custom Night, Classic Photo-Negative Mickey can be unlocked once you beat Classic Mode (alongside Classic The Face) and will start in the Mascot Prep Room. He behaves identically to his official counterpart, moving from either the Lounge or Freezer to get to the office and will leave if you either shut off a camera or take a chance and turn off the lights, with the latter method having 50/50 chance of working. Waiting for too long will cause Classic Photo-Negative Mickey to jumpscare and kill you.
Classic Photo-Negative Mickey also moves the same in Classic Mode, but cannot be driven out by turning off the lights because this method is removed, and you must instead rely on turning off a camera to deter him.
Personality[]
Photo-Negative Mickey only ever speaks twice, but his personality is extremely obvious to deduce. He has a very morbid, sadistic sense of humor, asking Jake if he would like to witness him tear his head off and is seemingly entertained with tormenting Jake by echoing a greeting. During his timeline in the TWGMS program, he was shown to be docile and harmless, contrary to his current state where he is filled with murderous intent.
Photo-Negative Mickey is also shown to have excellent intelligence, as although he lacks vision, he is capable of using his incredible sense of hearing to navigate around the building (evident by his giant ears). On top of that, Photo-Negative Mickey is quite a cunning character, having memorized the layout of the building and possessing the exact knowledge how to get into Jake's office due to his deep understanding of his surroundings. This is also especially evident when Jake runs out of power, and Photo-Negative Mickey sneaks into the office (even with his lack of vision) and kills Jake soon after. Additionally, Photo-Negative Mickey is also shown to have the most omnipresence among all other toons, as he is the first antagonist to attack Jake during his nightshift in Treasure Island, and when Jake runs out of power, Photo-Negative Mickey will typically be the one to finish Jake off, aside from Hourglass.
Despite his ruthlessness, Photo-Negative Mickey's greatest strength is also his greatest flaw (thus being a double-edged sword), as he can easily be derailed from his mission of killing Jake by other sounds, such as Jake shutting off the camera, distracting him for a short while. Due to his heightened sense of hearing and lack of vision, Photo-Negative Mickey is otherwise over-reliant on his deep understanding of his surroundings and his incredible hearing to offset his lack of vision, in which Jake can easily take advantage of since Photo-Negative Mickey is easily manipulated by loud sounds as a result of his high sense of hearing and poor eyesight, such as Jake turning off cameras.

Trivia[]
- If the player remains idle on the home menu for too long, Photo-Negative Mickey will turn to face the player, duck below the screen and jumpscare the player. However, while his classic counterpart sends the player into the next night, Photo-Negative Mickey will crash the game.
- This feature has been carried from some of the earliest versions of the game and apply to both Photo-Negative Mickey's official and classic variations.
- Along with Willie, Photo-Negative Mickey is one of the only two Mickey's to have a tail.
- Along with Hourglass, Photo-Negative Mickey is one of the only two characters that jumpscare the player if the power goes out.
- Photo-Negative Mickey will also not jumpscare the player if the power runs out on Night 6; due to merging with the other toons to become Hourglass.
- The last frame of Classic Photo-Negative Mickey's jumpscare shows him in his default, un-inverted colors, sharing the appearance of the original Mickey Mouse.
- Strangely, this last frame of his jumpscare only appears in the Custom Night and not in Classic Mode.
- Typically, Classic Photo-Negative Mickey's face is normally coloured dark blue in the Custom Night. In his icon on the Custom Night's menu, when he appears in the Mascot Prep and during his jumpscare on the Custom Night, it is coloured teal instead. Similarly apart of this, while his gloves and eyes are normally coloured black. In the aforementioned situations, they are coloured dark grey instead. This also applies to Mascot Photo-Negative Mickey.
- Photo-Negative Mickey's blood was formerly yellow thick and curdled liquid as demonstrated in the creepypasta "Abandoned by Disney". In the real world, it is shown to be puke. In one of Photo-Negative Mickey's rare screens, it is shown to be black thick ink.
