Larry the Lobster is a recurring character in the SpongeBob SquarePants franchise. While he is normally depicted as a loveable meathead, Youtuber Alex Bale theorizes him to be the notorious criminal Pinhead Larry.
He uses voice recordings from Doug Lawrence.
History[]
Years ago, Larry the Lobster was known as Pinhead Larry. With his partner, Dirty Dan, he committed several crimes, eventually becoming an enemy of Sandy Cheeks. Sandy fought and killed the pair on a mountain, though they were revived by radioactive material. With a new plan in mind, Larry left his partner and set out to run his own empire.
Leaving behind his Pinhead Larry persona, Larry realized that since the radioactive material brought him back from the grave, its regenerative powers could be used to enhance the people Bikini Bottom, something the fitness obsessed Larry desperately desired. Larry turned the material into a poor tasting but addictive shake and attempted to sell them in chain of restaurants. The shakes, however, caused its consumers to sprout green hairs, and the restaurants were shut down. Larry was then forced to tweak the recipe and start over.
Larry had a few more endeavors after this, such as opening a gym or briefly running the Krusty Krab. He still seems to be on good terms with Dirty Dan, as Dan left a note on the back of the gym for his former partner.
