Andrey Yakovat, also known as President Mafia, is the main antagonist of the 2023 Vyond movie Caillou: Into The Caillou-Verse and the overarching antagonist of its 2025 sequel Caillou: Across The Caillou-Verse.
He is an alternate universe counterpart of Andrey Yakovat from Earth-90307002 who plans to make the entire multiverse into one universe in order to rule over it with the help of an escaped convict known as Henry Hart. However, his plans would be thwarted by Caillou and the Guardians of GoMultiverse, which are composed of Caillous from different universes, and killed when his lair collapses on him.
Appearance[]
President Mafia is vastly different from his main universe counterpart. He has a bob-like haircut with purple hair which has black tints above his forehead. He also wears a black and light blue military uniform, black pants and light blue shoes. For his facial features, he also has a black beard and an eyepatch.
Personality[]
Unlike his original counterpart from the main universe, President Mafia is described as evil and hungry for power over the multiverse. He is very kind to other criminals who visit his universe, as shown when he meets Henry Hart, who had escaped the Whiteboard Dimension after being imprisoned at the end of Andrey Yakovat: The Movie.
He is very determined in his plans of multiversal domination to the point he refuses to give up so easily, not hesitating to clone himself in order to avoid his plans being thwarted. Although he is an evil tyrant, he does like to mock people. This is shown when he mocks Boris as a funny comedian when the latter grounded him, knowing that such a ridiculous manner won't be enough to stop his plans.
Biography[]
Caillou: Into The Caillou-Verse[]
A week prior to the events of the movie, in Earth-90307002, President Mafia went to the Everest Mountains and found a diamond known as the Diamond of Multiverse, which is able to travel its user to different universes within the GoMultiverse. Realizing its power, President Mafia decides to use it so he can plot on ruling the GoMultiverse by making it into one universe.
He then takes the diamond back to his lair and builds a portal that will be used for his plans. As soon as he turned it on, however, he is met with a man named Henry Hart, who had escaped from the Whiteboard Dimension (Earth-7943). Upon hearing his story, President Mafia becomes interested and allows Henry to assist him in his plans.
Henry initially thought President Mafia was going to actually destroy the multiverse, but this wasn't the case as there is another meaning on "destroying" the multiverse. President Mafia then shows Henry his plan, which revolves around making the multiverse into one universe. He is tasked to travel to the real world and find something that could achieve the plan. Shortly after his explanation, President Mafia sends Henry to the real world, known as Earth-1218, in Akula BO's house.
Shortly after, President Mafia goes to bed and rests while Henry is in the real world. He is later awakened by the latter who had managed to find a piece of glass for the portal. Although he is a bit annoyed that Henry took a while on his mission, he shurgs it off and goes to where his portal is. As he was about to place the piece of glass into the portal, he is suddenly interrupted by Boris and the Caillou from his universe. As the latter threatens President Mafia, Boris plans to ground him. Hearing such a ridiculous and dumb threat, he laughs at both of them and mocks Boris as a funny comedian man before going back to his intentions of taking over the multiverse.
But before he could do so, he is kicked in the face by Caillou, who came alongside the Guardians of GoMultiverse, which are Caillous from three alternate realities. Refusing to give up that easily, President Mafia clones himself as a last resort and engages a final battle with them. However, during the battle, Caillou uses a futuristic, Star Fox-like weapon to destroy the portal, which makes President Mafia terrified at his plan being thwarted. The portal's destruction would also cause the lair to collapse, crushing President Mafia and killing him.
Caillou: Across The Caillou-Verse[]
Nine months after President Mafia's demise, Caillou's twin brother, known as Classic Caillou, would attempt to become his successor by attempting to destroy the multiverse. However, initially offering a bar owner known as Derko to work alongside him, he is double-crossed by the latter who brainwashes him. After Derko's defeat, Classic Caillou ultimately reforms for the better and goes back with his biological family.

- As the movie and its sequel are a nod to the Spider-Verse films produced by Sony Pictures Animation, President Mafia can be considered a reference to Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin, the main antagonist of the first film.
