Preston, formerly known as Clone Riggy and professionally known as Preston Shorts Wars, is the secondary antagonist of the YouTube ARG Shorts Wars, serving as the main antagonist of Season 1, and one of the two secondary antagonists (along with BamBaeYoh) of Seasons 2 and 3. He is also a major antagonist in the Riggy the Runkey franchise.
He is a clone of Riggy The Rabbit Monkey that was created by CloneVPN in their plan to take over/destroy YouTube Shorts. In "THE END OF SHORTS WARS", he is revealed to be the reincarnation of Dr. Francis Dave, the creator of the cloning machine and The Boss' kidnapper/abuser. He is the archenemy of Riggy and Danno, the former right-hand man of The Boss, and Bam's former co-worker/ex-husband.
He is voiced by Danno Cal Drawings, who also played Riggy and D. D. in the same series, and Lucky Luckington in the upcoming web-series Toon Turf.
Appearance[]
Given that he's his clone, he appears the same as Riggy, except his fur is a darker shade of blue/purple, his eyes are black with white pupils, he has numerous cracks near his eyes, and he also has no tail. He is made of some sort of foil instead of graph paper. Unlike every other character Danno has created, his mouth is not a regular smile, but rather a size-changing purely black grin that lacks a tongue, and teeth.
When provoked, he has a dark gradient resembling a shadow on the upper part of his limbs, and face [Nowadays, said gradient is mostly on his entire body]. He also has the ability to detach his limbs from his body, and make his pupils glow.
As of "HEY_THERE_BUDDY.mp4", he now wears purple shorts.
When putting on his "Dave Wendy" disguise, he wears a pink cap with a sun on the center, a lime-colored jacket that has pineapples on it, and brown pants. He also has blonde hair [might be a wig] and a mustache [might be fake].
After getting punched in the face by Riggy in RIGGY VS CLONE RIGGY: REMATCH, he gains more cracks [which are white instead of black], and his eyes are gone; only his white glowing pupils remain.
In SHORTS WARS SEASON 3, he wears a mask of his face to prevent anyone from seeing the cracks on his face.
After surviving being stabbed in the head by Jonny, his head, limbs, and torso are filled with white cracks, his fur becomes light blue [?], and he regains his loss of eyes. He also briefly gains a realistic blue hand, before turning into Preston Prime.
Personality[]
Preston is overconfident, mischievous, ruthless, malicious, short-tempered, and sadistic. He gets irritated easily, and is genuinely loyal to The Boss, willing to do anything he says, even if it means hurting people. Despite his cruelness, he also shows a more honorary side as he prefers to take care of Riggy out of pragmatic reasons to settle their fight evenly and was reasonable to leave both his enemies to their own devices while he continues to help with his creator of his schemes.
Overtime, during Seasons 2 and 3, the mind of Francis Dave begins to take over Preston's body. This makes him become self-aware and start to panic, as he is shown glitching rapidly in EVIDENCE-SUBMISSION-27[RE-FILE].mp4. His last moments [before his possession] show him hiding in an area of the court, trying to inject himself with a syringe to keep F.D away from his body, only to realize that it is empty, allowing the doctor to take control of him completely.

Trivia[]
- With every new video more cracks form in his eyes, we don't know the reason for this but there is a couple theories ranging from him getting mad at Danno to him being an egg and hatching into Shadow Riggy. (The Shadow Riggy theory has been debunked, in Danno's discord server he said that there will be no clones in Toon Turf, but Shadow Riggy will appear. The theory has further been debunked by his true origins being revealed in Season 3.)
- When Preston appears in "RIGGY'S CRIMES", the laughing sprite actually uses Riggy's own laughing sprite colored darker and with the tail removed. This can be easily seen by the ear shape and Grid Paper around him.
- Preston is somewhat similar to Robert, Riggy's father. Because both of them share the same fur and voice, as stated by Riggy.
- Although he is considered to be more villainous than Riggy, his criminal record is significantly lower than Riggy's.
- Due to Riggy referring to him as "Pasta Man" in one video, fans began mockingly referring to him as such as a joke.
- He didn't get purple shorts until 2024.
- His identity in Florida, "Dave Wendy", is a reference to his name reveal livestream. Specifically how his Wendy's chicken burger wrapper said "Dave", referring to Francis Dave.
- Jokingly, during the end credits of "THE END OF SHORTS WARS" livestream. Preston's voice actor isn't credited as Danno, but instead as "(Either Riggy or Danno TBH we don't know)".
- He is bisexual as stated by Danno.
- Datchia, a member of the Theorist Trio and fan/theorizer of Danno and Riggy, deeply hates Preston both for saving the Boss and generally finding him stupid. Despite this, Preston doesn't seem to acknowledge Datchia much, making this one-sided.
- Preston's occasional friendliness towards the Content Creators is tragically ironic, especially considering that in "THE BEST PRISON BREAK?", he is on good terms with Riggy before the events of "RIGGY VS CLONE RIGGY REMATCH". At first, Preston despises his original counterpart to the point of wanting to replace him, but this animosity seems to vanish when he becomes friends with Riggy, largely due to cheese puffs. This makes Preston appear somewhat senseless; although he is generally evil, he does possess some redeeming traits. In "RIGGY VS CLONE RIGGY REMATCH", Preston attempts to convince Riggy that they are now friends, but Riggy simply attacks him. When Riggy accidentally falls, Preston shows a surprising concern for him, as he checks to see if Riggy is okay, but Riggy quickly recovers and resumes his attack.
- In "SHORTS WARS SEASON 3?" and "THE END OF SHORTS WARS", Preston reverts to his typical personality. However, towards the end of "THE END OF SHORTS WARS", when The Boss is found not guilty, Preston initially reacts with anger but soon becomes anxious and teleports away. Unbeknownst to everyone in the courtroom, he attempts to inject himself with a syringe to keep Dr. F.D away from his body, only to discover that it is empty, allowing the doctor to take control of him completely.
