Princess Peach Toadstool is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Mario) of Dial L For Luigi.
After Luigi inked her in 2007 during a race which would lead to her getting into an accident, she swore revenge on the detective, planning on killing him for ruining her life.
She is voiced by Eileen Montgomery, who also voiced Toad in the same series, Amy and Tails in There's Something About Amy, and another version of Toad in YOSHIZILLA!
Biography[]
In the past, Princess Peach was an athlete and race kart driver. In 2007, during a race, Luigi would throw a blooper at her and ink her in the face, causing her to crash her kart. While Peach survived the accident, it would result in her arm being permanently crippled. The accident would change Peach's life for the worst, leaving her unable to play golf and race again.
Peach would spiral into a depressive state, becoming a drug addict. When she left her drug addiction behind, Peach would find a new addiction and gamble money regularly. After that didn't help her, Peach would try to find peace by turning to religion. This wouldn't help her and her drug addiction would relapse. After becoming clean once again, Peach would try to begin selling jewelry on Etsy. This however, wouldn't work.
One day, Peach would go to Luigi's office. She tells Luigi that Mario has been in the office late for the last couple of nights, despite mostly not working. Claiming that she was worried about him, she pays Luigi to go check on him to make sure that he is okay, which Luigi would agree to.
Later on, Peach meets with Luigi at the docks to Luigi's surprise. Luigi believes that Peach was importing the blue shells, but Peach would immediately deny this and claim that all she was doing was planning on "reacquainting him with an old friend." Peach would reveal a bat with a blooper attached with barb wire, trying to attack Luigi with it, only for Luigi to quickly gain a banana and trip her with it. Peach would try to strike again, only to dodge a now fire flower powered Luigi's attacks. When Luigi begins to pretend that he is weakened, Peach strikes him once with her bat, knocking out his fire power. However, before she could do anything else, Luigi would have her at gunpoint, leaving her defenseless.
With no other choice, Peach would take Luigi into P.I.E.R. 7 and says she would tell him who was behind his poisoning. However, before she could, Bowser would come in and knock her out. Peach would be awoken by Mario shooting the koopa crime lord dead, leaving her in shock.
Personality[]
At first, Peach appears to be a broken individual who just simply wants to make sure that Mario is okay and seems to have some affection for Luigi. However, it becomes quickly apparent that Peach truthfully just wants revenge for what happened to her. She by all means, hates Luigi, getting aggressive towards him the moment she enters his office about how he owes her and that he should be lucky that she doesn't set the entire building on fire. Despite this, she tries to mask her burning hatred for him by acting seductive and lighting a cigarette for him.
Once Luigi enters the docks, Peach doesn't hold back anymore, trying to attack Luigi with bat with a blooper attached to it, making it clear that she was obsessed with killing him for the sake of revenge. According to Luigi, Peach was always incredibly impulsive, as she would seemingly chase other people on the race track with bombs and was also apparently impulsive "in the sack". Peach also appears to be incredibly unreasonable, as even when Luigi points out that he had no idea what was in the boxes during the race or what the blooper would ink due to the entire fact that the aiming was hard, Peach would claim that Luigi was trying to make an excuse for himself and that no matter what, it didn't cut it for her.
Peach also seems to be rather perverted. This is shown in a flashback, where she can be seen performing an erotic activity with Mario. As Luigi puts it, she was always impulsive, be it "on the track or in the sack". Her lust is rather questionable too, as she was aroused by Mario shooting his own brother when they, Toad and Wario attempt to kill him all at once. She does, however, genuinely love and care about Mario, as demonstrated by her sadly watching his arrest for his illegal drug ring after Luigi sold him out to the police.
