Prototype Freddy is a minor antagonist in Snonk's fanfic series, the Fnafverse. He serves as the main antagonist of The Lonely.
He is a failed and scrapped prototype of the Funtime Freddy animatronic that was found by a girl called Emily. Wanting people to suffer from loneliness the same way he did, he brainwashes her into murdering her own loved ones.
History[]
Prototype Freddy was an animatronic built by William Afton, with guidance from the Shadow, to murder children. More specifically, he was meant to brainwash children into killing for him. For unknown reasons, he was scrapped and left to rot alone in an alleyway, which was implied to have taken a major toll on him.
One day, he was found in an alleyway by a lonely girl called Emily. Bitter and vengeful over what happened to him, Prototype Freddy wanted to make her suffer the same way he did. He spent a long time comforting her and giving her moral support, only to brainwash her when she was sleeping into killing her loved ones. It started with her lover, with Freddy manipulating her by claiming she still has him. Over time, he would do the same to her two friends, still manipulating her while doing so. Eventually, he finished it off by having Emily kill her own parents.
Finally, after feeling like Freddy's words no longer help her, she found out the truth about how she committed all those murders under his control. Freddy taunted her about feeling alone, and it's implied he then called the police on her out of sadism. As she was loaded into the back of the police car, she saw Prototype Freddy one last time, who sadistically implied she better keep her mouth shut.
