Purply(sometimes spelled as Purpy) is a titular main antagonist of DARK HOUSE's "Three Nights at Purply's" FNaF fan-game, as well as its unconfirmed possible upcoming sequel.

He is a recoloured, poorly-made rip-off & bootleg of original Freddy, created as the main animatronic mascot & lead performer of Freddy FazBear's Pizza's newly opened business rival—"Purpy's Pizza". Unfortunately, the diner got quickly shut down after local dayshift guard murdered 4 innocent people in this place, including 3 random kids, & even Fritz Smith(AKA Yellow Guy/Phone Guy)—the owner & CEO of Purpy's Pizza himself, who got forcefully stuffed inside of Purply's spare springlock suit & crushed in it, leading to his later revival as the "Purplytrap".

Fritz himself also serves as the main deutoragonist of the game, & was voiced by, pressumably, DARK HOUSE themselves.

During the first 3 nights, Purpy appears as bright purple animatronic bear with giant round head, big ears, big black fedora/tophat, pitch black hollow eyes, constantly opened mouth, & microphone in his hand. In the mini-games, he looks basically just identical to normal Freddy from FNaF, but purple. As the "Purpytrap", he becames more darker, more burnt & withered, along with white glowing pupils & scleras in his eye sockets, & a giant hole in his stomach, revealing a mutilated corpse of Fritz inside of him, being mangled on the endoskeleton.

His gameplay sprites, by the way, are actually just crudely-edited photoshops, made out of FNaF 1 Freddy's body from "Thank You!" teaser, with the head being replaced by enlarged head of FNaF 1 Chica, from the same teaser, ears being enlarged as well, tophat being more shorter, looking more like a fedora, Freddy's mouth being flattened on the sides, & an upper teeth row being added. In Purplytrap's case, his eyes & burnt texture are photoshopped from Phantom Animatronics from FNaF 3, with the stomach hole & the corpse being taken from Springtrap's "Extras" sprite from the same game.

Fritz Smith[]

Unfortunately, Fritz never physically appears in the game, except his 8-bit sprites from mini-games, where he is portraited as crudely-drawn, schematic bright yellow humanoid-like figure, with black eyes & white glowing pupils. In Night 3 mini-game, he is also shown holding a phone.

Fritz' name, which is obviously a refference to Fritz Smith we play as in Custom Night in FNaF 2, may imply that they either are the same person, meaning that Fritz was originally working at Freddy FazBear's Pizza before running his own bussiness, or they are actually different, & its either just a coincidence, or FNaF 2 Fritz is actually a fraud, who took Fritz' name after he died, & used it as a fake identity.
- In fact, it's heavily implied that his name was stolen by William Afton himself, who killed the real Fritz Smith, & used it to apply for a job at FNaF 2 location. Not only he already did the same thing in this game, by using "Dave Miller" nickname, but it's also can be a refference to Vincent/Fritz Smith from The Return to Freddy's series, or Fritz Smith from Moonlight's FNaF GMod maps & "Cases Minigame" animated series, as well as pretty old theory about Purple Guy & Fritz Smith being the same person.
  - In this case, the fact that Fritz is also a Phone Guy counterpart in this game, can also be a refference to other old theories, like Fritz Smith & Phone Guy being the same person, or instead Phone Guy & Purple Guy being the same person. This majes it even more similar to Vincent from TRTF, who also was supposed to take role of Phone Guy, at least in TRTF 1.
- Another variant, less interesting, is that Fritz' name was used not by William, but by Michael, as a refference to another theory, that FNaF: SL Michael Afton & FNaF 2 Fritz Smith are the same person.
Purply's design, especially in mini-games, where he basically just Freddy but purple, looks suspiciously similar to Shadow Freddy from FNaF 2 & 3. It's still debatable if this fact have any lore implications.
He is basically just a complete opposite, yet mirror of original William Afton:
1. While William is a purple man, theorized to be wearing yellow bear suit(his counterpart in this AU even DID used it), Fritz is a yellow man, killed by purple bear suit. Switch Fritz & Purply's colours with each other—you'll get William & Golden Freddy.
2. While William is an evil & bad businessman, Fritz is a kind & good businessman.
3. Both of them got killed inside of the springlock suits, & turned into horrific hostile monster. Even Purplytrap's name is literally just just pun, made out of "Purply" & "Springtrap".
4. While Fritz is an actual Phone Guy counterpart in his game, William was theorized to be one.
At some point, there was a theory, made by O5car Magu1re in his DARK HOUSE review, assuming that instead of being reincarnated Fritz Smith, springlocked in Purply's suit, Purplytrap can actually be just William Afton/Dave Miller, wearing Purply's suit as a disguise to kill our protagonist & eliminate his last witness. This theory was later debunked in the comments by DARK HOUSE themselves.
- If that theory would be true, it would be pretty similar to how in The Return to Freddy's 1, Fritz Smith would use Golden Freddy's suit to attack Mike Schmidt on Night 6.
