The Pyro is the main antagonist of the xXSlim-FreemanXx's fan-made Valve universe. He is the main antagonist of "Do You Believe In Magic?". He is a sentient android created by Saxton Hale to carry out several missions the other mercenaries would not do. He is not actively trying to hurt people, as a matter a fact, he's trying to do the opposite. He was built to believe that he is in fact spreading happiness and joy to all of his "friends". However, he is actually murdering people and lighting things on fire. He is very childlike and playful, which his fellow mercenaries find disturbing. He almost never removes his mask.
Biography[]
Project Pyromaniac v.II, codenamed: The Pyro, was built by Saxton Hale to carry out missions and jobs that his fellow mercenaries would not EVER do. He was raised by Beatrice, the former Pyro, and Chevy, the former Heavy. He was programed to believe that he is spreading happiness and joy to all of his "friends", when in reality he is spreading mayhem and chaos. He was built to have the mentality of a child, and acts just like one. He randomly was sent out into a battle, without the knowledge of his fellow mercenaries. They had no idea he was even a member of the team. After the battle, Engineer and Heavy tried to ask him to leave. But when they did, he responded by lighting things on fire and nearly killing Engineer. Most of the mercenaries where too scared to even talk to him after that. They didn't even know what gender he was, due to him almost never removing his mask. He would later become a very valuable member of the team, helping them win numerous battles.
One day, Saxton Hale sent him out to burn down Blutarch Mann's mansion, that several BLU team members where hiding in order to formulate a plan against Pyro's team. Pyro was armed with a new flamethrower that was nicknamed "The Dragon's Fury", along with several new weapons.
Pyro managed to sneak into BLU's mansion before he was spotted by a BLU Engineer. The rest of the BLU team, then attacked Pyro with all of there weapons. He managed to survive the onslaught and kill several BLU team members, but was extremely injured himself. He managed to break into Blutarch Mann's study. With the upper hand, Pyro lit a fire in the room. He used his fire axe to cut off Blutarch's feet. Before Pyro could land the killing blow, he was stopped by The Administrator. She informed him that this was simply a test, to make sure that they could trust Pyro.
Pyro then returned back to his base, earning a candy bar for his good work.
Personality[]
Pyro is very childlike and has the mentality of a four-year old. He is very playful and silly, which disturbs his fellow teammates. He barely hangs-out with any other mercenaries, due to them fearing him. However, he believes that he is best friends Spy, despite Spy hatting and fearing him. He looks at Saxton Hale as a hero and absolutely worships him.
