Rai Nehemias Salazar Ryuuguuin better known simply as Rai Salazar and also known as The Kazanryu is one of the main protagonists of Kazanryu's Kingoms of Fall franchise. He is the leader of a rogue gang called Tsuraltad, as well as a infamous mass murderer between the crime world, as well as also the twin brother of his arch-nemesis, Leo Salazar.
While Tsuraltad are dealing with various enemies due to him, he is searching the truth and the incidents about his family, from the death of his mother and the disappearing of his cousin, Inori Kagetsu. That while he is facing enemies and obstacles with his flame powers and skills in manipulation over people.
Her serves as the main protagonist of the Exodus of the Kingdoms, the first story saga of the book series and the profile photo of Kazanryu's channel.
Personality[]
Rai is quite cautious and resourceful to prevent harm and is very distrustful but he is someone with experience who loves, wants and has other things like that for people or things but does not get attached to people or things or anything like that, so he can't be emotionally hurt. he is usually sarcastic on some occasions and usually speaks with words instead or code. He is not intimidated and is not easily intimidated and acts from experience. He is humble when it comes to his power or his undefeated time and sees potential in his opponents, even the rest. He hates to leave things unfinished and even if death forces him to do so. he is calm but aggressive and despite being a Christian, he does not express it too much but is conservative.
In his way of thinking, he does not see the value of virtues and does not consider himself a hero for knowing his own actions. he does not see that justice works and he kills without thinking twice, apart from the fact that he does not see the need to demonstrate that his values are better. He does not see things in black and white and does not pretend to be vigilant, apart from being direct with a person only when the situation warrants it for him. He does not let himself do things and is usually cheeky when he sees the need to do so, normally he is usually lonely, but he only seeks company when he sees the need and does not trust his enormous strength.
Curiously, for having Asperger Syndrome, he is so unpredictable as surprising. He can be bold, arbitrary, jerkish, blatant and mischievous, as well as cunning, smart, discreet, calculating and watching. Out of his autism, his unpredictability also apply to moments that he turns incredibly serious, menacing and terrifying. Being for his power or his chance to take questionable methods to take situations, ranging from lethality and chaos to manipulation and threats.
For another side, he have some pessimism at the moment of consider events. Though in a normal way something can go well, he shows his paranoia and skepticism presenting bad possibilities that can ruin the plan in question, as well as his low self-esteem, specially being on his own persona and his chances of success when there are bad chances to fail. The paranoia comes as he prepares himself to prevent any disadvantage, but is very subtle and holdable for his rationality.
Despite this traits, he's very realistic about how the world works and points out that his own viewpoint can rather not be right. When someone asks him about how the world is and how is the current event, he is totally honest showing his own viewpoint and mentioning this previous details, without wanting to convince the individual.
Biography[]
Rai was born from the union of two powerful bloodlines: the Salazar Family, masters of fire with unique properties, and the Ryuuguuin Clan, bearers of a sacred treasure capable of analyzing with superhuman precision. His birth was greeted with pride and great expectations by his parents, Josué and Umisame.
The family peace was shattered when his mother Umisame, disappeared without a trace. A month later, she was found dead with no visible injuries, sparking uncertainty and suspicion, especially given the inexplicable nature of the incident. No one could understand how she died, not even with the clan treasure.
At age 9, Rai and his siblings grew up exposed to gang warfare. Amid the chaos, Rai received disturbing revelations from his cousin Inori of the Otoki Clan. She and an aunt shared a secret involving a cursed Otoki Clan treasure, which may be linked to his mother's death.
Shortly after these revelations, Inori also mysteriously disappeared, leaving behind no body. Her case was ignored due to the increasing attacks by gangs like Kousakougou, Naghyad, Marveth, and Yunikon, who began to harass them relentlessly.
By the age of 13, Rai had already hardened himself emotionally. He became ruthless, insensitive, and brutal in response to pain and violence. His father noticed this, but understood there was no turning back.
Six years later, Leo renounced all family ties, adopting the same cruel behavior as his former enemies. This led to his expulsion and absolute rejection by his family and clan. Since then, Rai has hated him and vowed to hunt him down if she ever finds him again.
