Rampage is an unsympathetic character and both the main antagonist of AndrewJohn100's 2014-2022 Youtube series, Zord Adventures and the posthumous antagonist of both the 2024 Youtube seres, Zord Odyssey and an upcoming unknown Transformers revival series.
He was the leader of the Predacons as his main goal was to defeat the Zords to take over the world and rebuild Cybertron to win the Beast Wars after its destruction since the Great War.
He was voiced by Andree DeLiberis.
Roles[]
Before he made his debut, he originally serves as the unseen overreaching antagonist of Season 1. After making his appearance, he later appears and is revealed to be the main antagonist of both Season 2 and 3 after his debut in Season 2. Since his death, he now serves as the posthumous antagonist of the upcoming Transformers revival show that serves as a sequel to Zord Adventures.
Personality[]
Rampage is well known for his hostile deeds. He is very sadistic and brutal but unlike his cartoon counterpart who takes pleasure for the victims' fear and had shown a compassionate side. He is also selfish, wrathful, vengeful and bloodthirsty as a character to be in the series and despises the Zords such as Ape and Tyrano. He is very intolerant when it comes to failure, disobedience or being betrayed, most notably from Dinobot. Despite this. he views the other Predacons as his family and is an avenger of Megatron.
Appearance[]
While both his beast and vehicle modes are not shown, Rampage's robot mode has an appearance of a technorganic crab. His arms, legs, chestplate, head, spikes and mandables are armor-plated red and orange. his crab-faced stomach and pelvis are silver, his feet, stomach antennae, spots, head stripes and mouth are purple, his eyes and the eyes on his stomach crabe face are green. The rest of his crab form is basically his back with the pinchers purple with red stripes, crab legs black with silver joints and back armor plated red and orange.
Backstory[]
Early Life[]
Rampage was known as Protoform X who was an experiment gone horribly wrong and was placed in a stasis pod where he would be dumped to a barren world by his family. At some point where the Beast Wars begin, Rampage's stasis pod is one of the stasis pods crashed landed on Earth where he chosed a new form and met up with Megatron. At some point after Optimus Primal and Megatron died from fighting to the death, Rampage proceeds to avenge Megatron's death then took over the lead and decides to use the Reprogrammer X, an invention made by Tarantulas, to reprogram Rhinox and Dinobot to permanent Predacons and destroyed the Axalon as the Maximals went to hiding. He especially captured and reprogrammed the Ninja Zords and the Shogun Zords to be under his command as he plans to conquer Zordtopia as well as planning to rebuild Cybertron. At some point he would later somehow revive Optimus Primal, reprogram Stega into a Predazord after his capture by Optimus Primal and Dinobot and killed Tigatron and presumably some other Maximals still in hiding.
Villainous Acts[]
- In The Search Of The Ninja Zords, it was revealed that he killed Ninjor and has captured, reprogrammed and taken the Ninja Zords to the Desert of Despair as he leaves Quickstrike and Spittor to guard.
- In Ambush, he ambushed Ape as he attempts to destroy him, but despite the damage he did on Ape, Rampage lost the battle, but vows he'll meet again.
- In The Animarium, Rampage abuses Dinobot for his failure and the death of Optimus Primal.
- In The Maximal's Backstory, it was revealed that he took over the Predacons as he captures Rhinox and Dinobot and uses the Reprogrammer X to turn them into permanent Predacons as he leads an assault on the Axalon, destroying it. He then found and terminated Silverbolt as well as revealing he also killed Tigatron.
- In The Fight For the Shogun Zords, Rampage sent the Shogun Zords to destroy the Dino Zords while he finds and recruits the Blizzard Zords to his cause.
- In A Sudden Reunion, he, Scorponok. Buzz Saw and Dinobot followed Wolf, Hammerhead and Alligator as GaoHunter, and then he sent BakuranOh to attempt to defeat GaoHunter, but he fails.
- In Captured, he sent Scorponok, Tsubasa and BakurenOh to capture Dragon and later reprograms him into becoming one of his evil zords. It was also revealed in which he reprogrammed some of the other Wild Zords as well as the Mystic Zords to his side.
- In Fallen Leader, he leads a Predacon ambush on the Dinozords which results to the Dinozords' battle against the Predacons into a turn for the worst and the death of Tyrano after he kills him, leaving the remaining Dinozords leaderless and captured.
- In Turn for the Worse, he sent Dinobot, Dragon, Rhinox, Tarantulas, Tsubasa and Quickstrike on killing off the Ninjazords, the Thunder Zords and the Shogun Zords by having sending in a cake with a bomb in it in results in having the base being on fire, then gives Dinobot the order to destroy the base with Rhinox and Tarantulas still inside. Although Dinobot hesitates and questions him for his hypocrisy, Quickstrike follows Rampage's order and presses the button which results in destroying the base and the Zords, along with Rhinox, Tarantulas and Tsubasa, in it.
- In Zordtopia's Last Defense Part 1, Rampage chokes Dinobot for disobeying him and gives him a death threat if he is to disobey him again and announces his plan on invading and conquering Zordtopia to turn have it and the rest of Earth into a cyberformed planet "Predtopia", then launches a Predacon invasion on Zordtopia as well as exterminating the Samurai Zords in the progress and had a huge battle with the Maximals, Wild Zords and Saba but despite their best efforts to stop Rampage, they were later defeated by them.
- In Zordtopia's Last Defense Part 2 and after the battle, Rampage proceeds on his plan to execute the Maimals, Wild Zords and Saba starting with Airazor who he later killed and then attempts to kill Cheetor next only to be stopped by Gorilla as he and the other rest of the Wild Zords including Polar Claw and the Dinozords arrived to fight, as well as the Dino Thunder Zords later on, against Rampage and the battle for Zordtopia resumes as Rampage and his Predacons fight against them only for some of his forces to be obliterated one by one and he was destroyed, only for his Spark to remain intact and his body suddenly regenerates because his Spark is immortal and soon uses the Allspark Staff against everyone, weakening them. As Rampage and his Predacons were about to kill them, Dinobot arrives and claims to do the honors to kill them for him, only for him to actually do the honors to sacrifice himself to use the Allspark Staff against Rampage, killing him and the rest of the Predacons with him except his Zords as it only snaps them out of Rampage's control, putting an end to Rampage's reign of terror and the rest of the Predacon forces once and for all.
