It’s not about power. No. This is a matter of vengeance John. Everyone loves you but nobody gives a f***k about me and my hard career. Humans are totally assholes in this new generation and nothing can stop what’s coming in 10 more minutes automatically.

Any last words before I give you one final RKO?
~ Randy's final, and famous line, threatening to kill his archenemy John Cena

Randy Orton is the main antagonist of the 2025 WWE fan-made feature Brawl, the first installment of the Brawlverse from the World Wrestling Entertainment franchise.

He is John Cena's arch-nemesis and the biggest enemy of John Cena's group of allies, which includes his girlfriend Nikki Bella, his best friend Seth Rollins and many more popular figures.

After feeling humiliated by John Cena because he was much more popular, Orton developed plans for revenge and world dominance. He is also the commander of The Doomsday of Pain and the right hand of it's leader The Stranger/Vince McMahon, as well as an enemy and rival for power of Triple H.

Orton was once a long time rival of Cena inside the WWE arena. However, he went rogue by opportunity when he was offered by Vince McMahon to be his second in command and chief enforcer within the faction of villainous wrestlers, who have become terrorists, and they would be accompanied by terrorist troops. Randy was ambitious, becoming a power hungry man of war, and leading his organization to what he calls victory, not caring if he has to brutally bomb up millions or even billions of people. He does all this primarily because of his villainous nature, and his obsession for revenge against Cena himself. Orton is defeated, but his legacy continues to spark a catastrophe in the world, and his superior, after revealing Cena and Nikki his true identity, is still accomplishing the common goals of McMahon and Orton in large.

History[]

Randy Orton was a ruthless wrestling champion and long time rival and enemy of John Cena (the protagonist of the fanfilm). One day, Vince McMahon founded "The Doomsday of Pain", an organization which is meant to take over the world in the name of the WWE franchise. John vowed since that day to stop the forces of evil and defeat Orton completely.

Orton teamed up with the rest of his organization, led by The Stranger, who was secreltly Vince McMahon, and followed by his own henchmen CM Punk, Asuka, JBL, Drew McIntyre, Christian Cage, the hypnotized Brie Bella and many more, in order to conquer the world by using the nukes of Russia, The USA, and China against the world by manipulating the three armies into nuclear war. Orton goes to a pub, attempting to kill a guy named Benny Hazel to show off his powers while being accompanied by JBL and CM Punk. However, John Cena stopped him and his two henchmen, brawling them until they were injured and powerless.

Orton was called in to a meeting with his top henchmen CM Punk and Asuka by The Stranger. The Stranger angrily orders them to finish the operation without being exposed, further escalating his own war with Cena and his allies. Orton was going to lead the operation, as Asuka commanded the female members of the team, JBL took command of the military forces, and CM Punk was incharge of their operation within Russia as Orton wouldn't be present there. Orton went straight to China, readying Xi Jinping's forces against the entire world, mainly the US.

Following the defeats of JBL and CM Punk in Russia, Cena and his friends advance towards China and travel there by ship, right after being betrayed by their temporary ally Triple H, who used them to get hold of all wrestling stars, including Randy Orton, so he can imprison and enslave all of them inside an arena and use the final winner of his competition to become a military tool for combat within his own paramilitary company, sponsored and hired by Wrestleforce Incorporated. As a result, Randy boosted his forces in China, sending a nuclear missile to strike first Washington's suburb, and then Paris successfully, killing millions at the very least in the process.

Cena later managed to overcome Orton's forces, and he invaded his facility followed by Nikki Bella (despite telling Nikki to be safe and stay behind). Orton and Cena have their final battle, and John Cena is almost killed. However, Nikki reveals herself after disobeying Cena and entering the facility to assist him, shooting Orton and saving Cena despite the order not to come in. Cena and Nikki continue their journey, as Orton's boss, the Stranger, approaches the heroes and reveals Cena and Nikki that he was actually Vince McMahon all this time.

Personality[]

Envious of John Cena, Randy becomes consumed by his desire for vengeance. He is a ruthless tyrant wanting to shape a new world order as he and his boss "The Stranger" see fit. He wasn't loyal to anyone, and he did this only so he can gain power for himself. Randy is very hateful and has no code of honor in this fanfilm.

He was a pervert towards Asuka, giving attractive remarks when they've discussed matters with The Stranger alongside their ally CM Punk. Randy is a strategic leader, often showing he is the most dominant member of The Doomsday of Pain, leading the operations of the faction, boosting his skills and giving other subordinates commands. Due to being the second in command and also because Vince trusts him very much, he could be considered as the actual mastermind behind the plans, and the leader of the group if you exclude Vince McMahon. He was never really loyal to Vince, since he wanted the power mainly for himself, although he did go on well with his superior and he never questioned or planned to betray him, showing that he does have some manners to Vince McMahon. Randy is also heavily bent on defeating John for simple reasons such as rivalry and therefore, vengeance. Randy aimed to conquer the world because he wanted to show everyone around it he is worthy of ruling instead of good people like Cena.

Randy Orton was very murderous and vicious since he went rogue and joined forces with Vince. He became a tyrannical warlord who enjoys others suffering, and enjoys killing them if they've posed any opposition to him or if they stand in his way to glory. He has no remorse or honor mainly because he commits massive atrocities on a large scale and he seems to be pleased with it as long as Cena is defeated as he planned. This shows how sadistic Orton really was all the time, even before going rogue.

Trivia[]

  • This is the first version of Orton in a movie, as in the official franchise, he was always a wrestling star, never appearing in cinematic features.
  • Despite not having any code of honor, Orton in this fanfilm does consider his own boss The Stranger/Vince McMahon as a true ally. Although it seems to be pragmatic, Orton never intended to betray him, and listened to his orders with seemingly genuine interest. However, given that he only does these evil acts to get his revenge on Cena and rule the world by himself, this is rather a minor sympathetic trait than a honorable one.
