I know what you’re most afraid of. I am the fear keeper. The destroyer of minds. And guess what? YOU'RE IN MY DOMAIN!
~ Aparat speaking to and intimidating Christian and Martin

Aparat is a demonic presence that resides inside of the Rap Rat board game. He is described to being able to break human's minds, which was seen in the original video.

Appearance[]

When he is disguised as the Rap Rat from the board game, he displays two large ears, swollen lips while also having two enlarged teeth and peculiar-looking eyes.

Aparat, however, very much resembles a rat from real life, unlike before, his ears were shrunken, including his eyes and his fur seems to be more messy. And he also wears a satanic necklace if you look closely.

Personality[]

Aparat is shown to be highly sadistic, as he clearly enjoys messing with Christian and Martin. He is shown to stalk Christian as he went into the restroom and even trapped him inside of the room with him.

Aparat gets any chance to possess anyone, which has happened with Nick.

Biography[]

Aparat. - The Curious Case of Christian Buckingham[]

The video starts off with the camcorder in front of a TV screen with nothing being displayed on it yet. Christian and Nick are heard talking to each other about 'the tape' and are both wondering if one of their mom's will get into a so-called panic attack if they see it. One of them explains that the board game was cheap, only $6.99, and also claimed that they felt like the game felt oddly alluring. They both start the game, further talking to each other. The well-known intro of the board game displays on the TV screen, Nick finds it interesting, but later states that it looks like 'the really bad kids show we saw the other day at the cinema'. The explanation of the board game starts, as the two friends watch, Nick says that they can definitely vibe with Rap Rat, because they respect men who like cheese. They both decide on which color they want to play as during the board game, Christian chooses red, Nick chooses blue. Nick wonders if he has jumped a little bit, which led to the screen freezing on a frame of one of the sketches of Rap Rat and the two other rats. Christian and Nick both agree that it was a little freaky, but not out of the ordinary, as it could've been an error in the making. The screen displays an image of the board game itself, but it quickly changes to a darker version of the image, having text saying "RUN" on the right. After some weird inconveniences, Game 1 finally starts, but Nick later states that it said Game 3 before. After, we finally get to see Rap Rat physically, both of them once again agree that it looks creepy. After rambling on for a while, Rap Rat abruptly stops speaking and stares from the screen, completely emotionless, still, like a sculpture. The video cuts to them both actually playing the game, which leads to Rap Rat popping out of the cheese, staring at them menacingly, before it zooms up on Rap Rat, saying his infamous line "Wait your turn!". The TV then later displays an error screen, they try to fix, but suddenly....

A weird, ominous, realistic rat shows up on the glowing screen, lighting up the room for only a few seconds. It was uncanny in terms of the original board game, it did not belong in that game, neither did it belong here. The two friends could nothing, but scream in terror at the sight of the ugly monster staring at them with what seems to be a grin.

The video later cuts to a shot of the cheese from the board game being slowly eaten away as images of a closeup view of Aparat flash on the screen repeatedly. Christian realizes that their attempts at ejecting, do not succeed. Nick calls out to Christian, stating that he can't move at all, Christian thinks Nick is playing tricks for a while, until Nick starts to chant "Listen to Rap Rat, he's the boss.". After Rap Rat appears out of the circle of cheese, Nick finally gains control over his body. The board game video plays out normally for a short while. It zooms up on Rap Rat's face, as he speaks seemingly inaudible words. The board game suddenly turns off once again, a faint whisper of a little girl is heard as she is crying for her parents or anyone. Not wanting a monster, likely Aparat, to get her. The boys take notice of this, before the video cuts to a shot of the cheese, presumably burning. Their bedroom door is locked all of the sudden, as Rap Rat appears once again, his eyes were nonexistent as fog surrounds it. Their eyes appear, but it is at the bottom of their eye sockets. It starts speaking to the boys, saying "I know what you’re most afraid of. I am the fear keeper. The destroyer of minds. And guess what? YOU'RE IN MY DOMAIN!".

Suddenly, flashing images (displaying a man falling, needles, etc.) fill up the screen as Rap Rat bops up and down. The sounds of hundreds of screaming people, overflow the entire room. The two boys try to eject once again, but all attempts are failed as they scream in terror, the video cuts out.

The boys state they regret ever getting the tape, saying that they should burn it. They attempt to get rid of the tape, but they notice that it is suddenly missing. Christian takes the camcorder with him and calls Martin. Christian explains everything that has happened so far to Martin, but we have gotten some new information. Apparently, Martin is the one who informed Christian about Aparat inside of the game and Christian had to live with the Aparat for weeks, he states that he heard scratching at their door, which even mentioning it brings him to tears. Christian begs for any help, a priest, anything. Christian states that at 2:35AM, the rat was staring at him through a window, which it eventually travelled inside and trapped Christian in there for 15 minutes.

The video cuts to an outside shot, before a scream is heard, presumably Christian's, before rat noises are heard, implying that Aparat killed, or kidnapped Christian. Then the video stops.

Trivia[]

  • Aparat was voiced by a TTS software from the 80s.
  • This is the link to the original creepypasta villain that the retake's character was based off of: Rap Rat.
